What's the weather like?

Yorkshire is wet and windy. 

Not cold.

Same here, been quite mild though colder today.

Bizarre weather here too - 12 Celsius overnight, then the temperature dropping to 7 during the day.

Nice and mild outside of my south-facing bedroom window; artic cold outside of my north-facing kitchen window!

 

Also, just seen a giant cloud that looked like an Imperial Star Destroyer.

 

The joys of working from home...

It bucketed it down with rain this morning and during the afternoon glorious but chilly sunshine.

Started out frosty, with mist and beautiful skies, and now it's drizzly and grey.

Hello wintry weather - I have slipper boots to defeat you this year!

Exactly the same here, frosty at first, now grey and drizzly.

A sign of how mild it's been - I just noticed that there were some daisies growing again, in the grass!

We finally have the first real frost of  the winter, lovely and sunny though.

It's pretty cold in Bedfordshire and still very foggy at the moment.

We had thick frost yesterday - killed off my remaining busy lizzies!  But it has been mild lately, and was much milder today,

Second day of dreich weather - dull, damp and cold. Depressing weather 

(Surprise to see a Redwing in the garden today, and haven’t seen any for years. They are only around during bad winter weather.)

We had some  redwings in the garden a few years ago, haven't seen them since but apparently they are regular winer visitors here.

 

Yesterday was very grey and drizzly, today so far is cold but bright and sunny.

Here it's cold and grey and rainy. About an hour ago we had some heavy rain. I guess winter is coming.

At last, it's a blue sky day, but it feels a bit nippy.

Sunday turned out to be a really nice day, sunny and quite mild - I had planned to meet up in the local park with 2 or 3 friends under  the rule of 6, until Boris Cromwell cancelled it all on Saturday!  Did manage to do a bit of cutting back in the  garden though.

 

Horribly wet today, it's the shortest day which means the mornings will get even darker for a while now.

It's a grim, gloomy day indeed.  Had the lights on all day, so far.

Finally stopped raining, bright now but very cold!

I see the sun again! But bitterly cold, and the forecast overnight could be around -2 Celsius, so we could have a white-ish Christmas Day.

Cold and bright on Xmas Day, back to grey drizzle again today, but not so chilly.

Well Storm Bella was a very wet and windy one let night! 
Not too bad, as there was no damaged trees etc. locally, but it was pretty scary. This morning it’s full sun and not even a breeze now. EDIT Have a yellow weather warning for snow tonight and early morning. Never a dull moment at the mo.

It was lively wasn't it, we had lots of wind and rain which kept me awake last night.  Quiet today and bright, we lost the lid of one of our recycling boxes despite it having a brick on top, the brick must have flipped onto the other box, and away went the lid!  I did put a  few small things like watering cans in the shed, just as well probably.

 

And our heating broke down last night....fixed now but need new radiators.
