Athena Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 Yesterday we watched Divergent, I enjoyed it though there were a few things I didn't like . (see Divergent topic for more) Quote
Ruth Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Stalker, from 2010. Not brilliant, but not bad. It's a non-gory horror - I watched it solely because the delectable Colin Salmon is in it, but it did hold my attention. Quote
vodkafan Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Watched Fight Club with Big Daughter. She really liked it. She had never watched it because she thought it was a martial arts movie. Quote
Anna Begins Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 She had never watched it because she thought it was a martial arts movie. Visions of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Quote
geordie9 Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 By far the worst (and only bad one imo) in the series! Quote
Athena Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Yesterday we watched Snow Dogs which was nice . It wasn't brilliant but it had a lot of sweet moments and I loved the dogs. Quote
Karsa Orlong Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Enjoyed that muchly. Quote
Athena Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Enjoyed that muchly. That's great to hear . I hope to be watching it soon, when I feel up for a longer film. Quote
vodkafan Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 In the last few days: Dredd. Last Of The Mohicans. Total Recall (Arnie version) I am watching all my old favourites. I want to watch something new but there is just nothing new that appeals to me. Quote
geordie9 Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 (edited) Good film. Stayed pretty much to the book Edited September 2, 2014 by geordie9 Quote
Athena Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Yesterday I watched Billy Madison which was nice . It's not the most intelligent film but it was great for me being ill and feeling foggy in my head. Quote
Athena Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Yesterday I watched Initial D (the live-action film). I read book one of the manga a few years ago so I knew the basic story. I thought the way they filmed it and the style of directing was different to most films and this made it quite interesting to watch . Quote
vodkafan Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 While I was ill I watched: Ghost Ship The Grudge (American version same Japanese director as original) All four episodes of North And South Quote
