Karsa Orlong Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 Watched the first episode of Defiance, the new Syfy series from Rockne O'Bannon (of Farscape fame). Fairly predictable but a reasonable amount of fun. Shall stick with it for a few more eps
risingdawn Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Watching celebrity version of Five Minutes to a Fortune
emelee Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Emmerdale. It's leathal to be home weekdays. Getting to like more daytime shows.
Raven Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 I must say, I'm very impressed with Endeavour. After the crime-by-numbers and often laughably convoluted plots Lewis had, this is a much more worthy successor to Morse.
chaliepud Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Anyone else looking forward to Broadchurch later? I can't wait!!!
chesilbeach Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 ^Me, me, me!!! We're just discussing that we'll have to watch it live tonight instead of recording it and watching it later in the week, as I don't want to risk spoilers.
Miss Mabel Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 I'm watching re-runs of According to Jim. Because there is absolutely nothing else on. But tonight is Grey's Anatomy....one of my favorites.
chaliepud Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Yes same here, my Mum and Dad were here for the weekend and we've been debating who could be the killer! My mum is usually great at predicting who did it but even she has no idea this time!
Karsa Orlong Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 ^^ Re Broadchurch, we actually worked out who the killer was a while back, and it became blindingly obvious last week when . . . Ellie said to the Pauline Quirk character "How could you not see what was going on in your own home?" Didn't spoil the final episode for me, though - I thought it was excellent, quite powerful and moving.
Eleonora Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Gilmore Girls.. Dean and Jess are fighting for Rory right now.

I was pretty sure I knew who'd done it, but not for the same reason.. and I missed that subtle reference that you picked up on but it does seem a blindingly obvious clue now!! Must pay more attention....

dex Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 The time machine - Guy pearce. On tv and I enjoyed it.
chaliepud Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Yep, Chelsea v Basel here.. On another note, is anyone else watching The Ice Cream Girls adaptation on ITV (Fridays)?
Karsa Orlong Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Game of Thrones 3x04. Good stuff! Best ep since the end of season 1, for me.
Timstar Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Game of Thrones 3x04. Good stuff! Best ep since the end of season 1, for me. Amazing wasn't it!!
Karsa Orlong Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Amazing wasn't it!! Yep, wall-to-wall goodness.
vodkafan Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 I watched about half the first episode of The Politician's Husband. Excellent acting from Emily Watson and David Tennant. You can just tell bad things are going to happen to their relationship now he is a house husband. And he can't connect with his autistic kid.
