I'm getting a little down over how little reading I've been doing lately, what with the puppy, being busy with the kids and Steve being home, and now starting to organise the school Christmas Fair. At one point this year I was 8 books ahead with my Goodreads reading challenge, now I am just breaking even. It doesn't help that Titus Groan isn't grabbing me yet and I don't know if it will, I know my Dad will be disappointed if I don't like it too.

I must put Newes From The Dead on my Christmas List, I really liked At The Sign of the Sugared Plum and Petals in the Ashes. Nice review Pops

I'm finding it a little too wordy - and I usually love wordy! - I think it is because I prefer books with a smaller number of characters where the author spends a lot of time on their characterisation, there is just too much going on at present. I'm only 40 pages in though so hopefully things will improve soon. I feel I have to finish it as my dad has been recommending it for so so long!
