  1. Today I booked my wolf walk (part of Steve's Xmas pressie to me), we're going on the 25th May - I can't wait!! :) :) In case anyone is interested, here is a link - http://ukwct.org.uk/
  2. I actually looked at it in Waterstone's today frankie and it was just an abbreviated version of the adult one so no point, my daughter is old/mature enough to read the one we have so I'll just have to keep my eyes open for a new book.. Although he probably has a website... Well done for re homing some more books, were you given any in return? I had the pleasure of buying 2 books today but they were for my eldest son and daughter so didn't add to my TBR pile! :)
  3. I know a little of how it occurred but I was hoping to read it from James's point of view, how he was approached and how he felt his life would change. I'm sure there'll be another book to follow up the story so I'll have to wait for that.. I understand there is a children's book out but I think it'll be too young for my lot.
  4. Broadchurch.
  5. Finished A Street Cat Named Bob today, it was good but I was a little disappointed that it didn't mention how he came to write the book!
  6. Coq au Vin, new potatoes for me and the eldest, the youngest had chips!
  7. I use our BM regularly, I have a Panasonic one which is widely perceived to the the best BM brand. I make all sorts of bread, including seeded, malt loaf and at least once a week homemade pizza, if it broke tomorrow I'd be straight out to buy another one..
  8. Well done Muggle, you're doing great and no doubt you're feeling much better too?
  9. I was listening to the on the radio, kids are having late showers and baths tonight!! Just about to watch Dr Who!
  10. Have you tried contacting Amazon? I've heard they are supportive even if you have had the kindle for over a year.. Worth a try, it definitely sounds faulty.
  11. Happy Easter everyone! I am using Easter as my New Year and have joined a gym and am trying to eat healthier too, feeling positive but haven't been to the gym yet and only 2 days into eating better! So watch this space...

Thanks everyone, I'm really excited about it at the moment and enjoying being good about what I eat, went to a charity footie match and ignored the food and booze!!

  12. Would agree with Twin Peaks, would add to it M.A.S.H, ER, Miranda, Lost, Friends and I'm sure there's lots I can't remember!
  13. I'm currently reading Energise You - The ultimate health and energy plan by Oliver Gray, I've just started trying to eat more healthily as I've joined the local gym and want to make the best of things.. It's a great little book, very simply written without all the scientific info that would just clutter my mind.. Lots of great facts and tips for all round good health and well being..
  14. Rise of the Guardians, I'm not normally a fan of animation but this was pretty good, and I got to listen to Hugh Jackman as the Easter Bunny!!
  15. Neither have I I'm nearly 42 I have never decorated a room (but I am going to try doing my daughters room this Spring!)
  16. I joined the gym! I was thinking about it but then was offered some good deals as my friend works there so mates rates, my husband works in aviation so got some corporate deal, peak for off peak price.. Just need to make myself go now!!
  17. GI Joe in 3D, was pretty good if you like a bit of shoot 'em up action, and I always find 'The Rock' entertaining! Worth choosing the 3D option for this film too in my opinion..
  18. Have made home made pizza for the kids and their friends, they'll have it with corn on the cob.. I may have some left over risotto later..
  19. Yes I nearly fell for that too!!
  20. "Our Girl" with Lacey Turner, a one off BBC drama which was on Sunday night. I thoroughly enjoyed it.. And Broadchurch which is simmering along nicely.
  21. Yep, dry but freezing here too, thankfully the snow didn't last long, just wish that wind would come for a different direction! I do wish the dogs didn't insist on walks while its so cold though...
  22. My son is hoping to start reffing after he turns 14 in May, we have sent off the forms so just need to wait and see whether he can get on a course, the only fun will be coordinating his matches with my younger sons matches and my daughters badminton!
  23. Hope you're feeling better soon frankie, I know how you feel, I was rough with a nasty virus and cough for a month and then had a horrendous week of nausea (apparently a result of the virus - the Dr thinks anyway), 3 days of anti-nausea pills which triggered my migraines!! In the UK we're blaming the weather for all out ills as Spring is taking it's bloody time to appear, this time last year temps were well up in double figures and at the moment it's struggling to get above freezing!! I suppose it's good reading weather though! Good luck with your next book, Coffee at Luke's definitely sounds like one to avoid!! Take care of yourself, and keep warm..
  24. Have added this to my/kids wish list..
