Hi Charliepud we went to Weymouth, never been before and totally loved it, but I expect the weather helped with that. Oh my goodness you have a lot of work coming up, will be worth it though I am sure.
-
Doesent look like you are going to get much rest this weekend Athena, you will have to put your feet up and read a book for a couple of hours.

I have never seen so much rain fall in a couple of hours, trying to get to work today and having to drive through surface water that was covering the whole of the road because the sinks could not cope.

We have just got back from a week away and I have to say the weather took us by surprise. The day we travelled was cold, wet and foggy but once we unloaded our bags we had fantastic weather after that, so glad I took sun tops and shorts with me. For this country we had amazing weather. Also sorted through clothes, put winter stuff away and brought out the rest of my summer gear, and did a big cull on clothes which will be going to charity shop. Felt better for it now have a bit of space in wardrobe so the first thing I did was go onto a few websites to pick out some new stuff. (oh dear).

I have only just finished watching series 5 so need to catch up at the weekend with the three episodes of the new series. Looking forward to it.

I am with you there Sue, I also did not think I would like reading books on my kindle or phone but it makes things so much easier doesent it. When I am at home I do read books because I always have a few on the go at a time. With my last cup of tea of the night I like to sit with the peace and quiet and get involved in a good book.

Some things just don't work together. Jane Costello - Summer Nights at the Moonlight Hotel
-
Sue I have to agree with you the Private series are winning at the moment as they can be anywhere and with any investigator, there are a few which follow Jack Morgan who owns the company but I think it opens it up for a good read. Sue do you keep your books, I have kept all mine which I have had to start storing away.

I wondered why I could not find my book reading for the month and realised we are in a new month, oh dear. Was on holiday last week so did not get much reading done I'm afraid. Being back at work brought Summer Nights at the Moonlight Hotel by Jane Costello to read during lunch it has had me laughing out loud already. Bodes well for the rest of the book.

We went from freezing cold to hot sunshine in the space of a day. Was on holiday last week and we were in shorts and t shirts paddling in the sea. Because you never know what to expect i still took water proofs, umbrella, boots as well as summer tops. Madness but it is the UK

What is going on with the weather. Went out about 8.30 last night and we had heavy snow for about an hour. It rained soon afterwards so the snow soon disappeared. This morning the car windows were frozen solid. They were not that bad in winter. Unbelievable.

This is so so sad, such a brilliant musician RIP Prince
-
I was away for a few days when I heard the news about Prince - so shocking how many have died this year. They are saying that he stayed awake for 154 hours straight. I wouldn't have thought this was possible.

The beginning of march had been glorious The Summer House by Santa Montefiore
-
Nearly finished Murder House by James Patterson - was having trouble reading this but I think I was just tired. Started on the Summer House by Santa Montefiore not read anything of hers before and now got two of her books also reading Death by Invitation Jaden Skye
-
I am about half way through The Murder House by James Patterson got to say I am finding this hard going which surprises me as I normally race through his books. Also reading Death by Invitation Jaden Skye I thought this series had finished I am so pleased there are more as they are very easy going. I too have got The Road to Little Dribbling by Bill Bryson - looking forward to reading this one.

Today is very pleasant, blue skies and no rain forecast for a few days. yippee

The weather here is all over the place. Saturday we had torrential rain out the back whilst out the front we had snow, yes snow. Sunday we had blazing hot sunshine that I was sat outside reading my book and catching some rays. Today it is so cold. They have turned the heating off at work so had to put the fire on. What next.

I am reading Some Kind of Wonderful by Sarah Morgan at work which is easy reading material. Was away this weekend and went into Waterstones oh I do love shopping for books when I have the time, and I had the time. Hubby went off somewhere leaving me in peace to shop.

Zachery Flynn should never have been born Some Kind of Wonderful - Sarah Morgan
-
I have never cheated and read the end of the book or looked it up to see what happens. I keep going to the end of the book, I think I have only given up on one book - cannot remember the title at the mo - but it just went on and on and on and never got anywhere so stopped reading it.

I have just arrived home to my sanctuary after breaking my hand whilst on a dig in Greece only to find that my ex husband is back on the island flying rich tourists out to their holiday homes and yachts. All my friends knew and did not tell me he was back. Sarah Morgan - Some Kind of Wonderful

I am watching last season of Game of Thrones, I stopped watching it because it was so violent. But with the new series starting soon thought it was best that I caught up. Also we have been saving the last 5 episodes of Major Crimes as it is all one story so will be watching that.

After all the rain we have had over the last 3 or 4 days and the fields being flooded, we have blue skies and the sun is shining. Hope the sunshine continues.
