  7. You cannot complain about that service Simon, it must have been a great relief to you. I am sure I have received items from them before, and never had any problems.
  8. I was thinking which are the best American or English Authors. I read both, but I do find that American authors have got more substance in there books sometimes.

  11. Hi Simon Having a look on the internet under HDNL, I think it is the same company that deliver catalogue items. I have seen them round quite a bit, if Amazon have had so many negative feedbacks from customers, then why do they keep using them. I find with Amazon it is not worth paying for postage, I have ordered books over the weekend and they have been sent out on Monday and arrived on Tuesday, I ordered a book on Sunday and it arrived this morning, probably the same as if you paid the postage for it. I hope you receive your items by the 25th with no problems.
  12. Can anyone recommend good chick lit authors, I am into Jill Mansell books at the moment, I love them, but also would like to try other authors. Need to have a break sometimes from the heavier type of reading.
  13. You are obviously in the UK, the same as what I am, have not experienced this before, when I order books and it is just one book it arrives with the postman, like one did this morning, if I order more than one book like I did a while ago, it still came by Royal Mail, but with the post van. I also order by free delivery, the book I ordered on Sunday, was sent out yesterday and arrived today, so I feel it is hardly worth paying for delivery on books.
  14. I often think to myself why do we get so involved reading fiction, some books I find you laugh, some books you can be in tears. When the book has finished you feel as if you really enjoyed it, and wishes it would never end. I was wondering if any of you bookworms feel the same as what I do.
  15. I now have 60 books TBR not including the book I ordered from Amazon that arrived this morning. I must change my ways, that will probably last till the weekend.
  16. I was thinking of doing this, then I go into charity shops looking, and see books I have not got, by authors that I like, and think I need this book and that is it unfortunately.
