Your Book Activity Today ~ Thread 14

I am now reading Lesley Pearces 'Georgia' brilliant book, got into it on the first page, cannot put it down. -
I have only just started reading Lesley Pearse books, and I think they are brilliant, first one I read was 'Charity', a few times during the book I sat and cried my eyes out, especially when she gave her baby up for adoption. I got into this book from the first page, it was a cracking book. I have also read 'Ellie', good but not brilliant, did not like the ending at all, perhaps I was looking for happy ever after, which I did not find. I have also the sequel to 'Ellie', 'Camellia'. I googled her and found her biography, her life was like she writes, not an easy life she has had. I bought today 'Rosie and 'Georgia', looking forward to reading them. I have now read these two books and they are brilliant. I have also read 'Tara'. I am reading 'Gypsy' at the moment. Today I bought 'Trust Me', that is the next book I am going to read, some of her books are quite tearful in some parts.

I am not sure if I am allowed to post this question or not, if I am not my apologies in advance. I have got alot of books to see, all Mills and Boon books, most of them I have not even read, I have advertised them on Amazon and Play.com. I wonder if there are any other places I could sell my books. Thank you for your help

I have this book to read in my book collection, but not read it yet. Read 'The Holiday' and that was a brilliant book, but find her books start of a bit slow, so this puts me of a bit. -
I am reading 'Charity', it is a large book and I am on page 64, it is a brilliant book, but talk about heart wrenching, been crying already. Read a review on Amazon and this person wrote, she cried from start to finish reading this book.

I have started reading Lesley Pearse 'Charity' this book is a heart wrenching story, but absolutely brilliant. -
We have just come back from Hemsby, Great Yarmouth, and a lady in the next chalet was reading, and we got talking about books, and she asked me if I new there was a huge second hand book shop at Great Yarmouth, we have been loads of times, but did not know about this shop, she told me where it was, so we went there, and it is as big as our Poundland shop and that is big. All the books are in great condition and every book is 90p each, bought about 15 books back with me. Most of them are all in alphabetical order, so you can easy search for your favourite authors. If any of you ever visit Great Yarmouth go to the bookshop and you are sure to find what you are looking for.

I am still reading Katie Fforde 'Summer of Love', this is a lovely romantic read. With one of the characters, she tries internet dating, I have never done it myself, but I could imagine it would be true to form to the 2 men she did meet. -
Do you read reviews before you purchase a book
VanessaL replied to VanessaL's topic in General Book Discussions
Going back to my original post,I obviously read reviews if it is a new author, but I also find if I like a particular Author, Nora Roberts, Katie Fforde, Erica James Etc., then I will purchase there books even if the reviews are not 5* -
If I am purchasing a book on Amazon, I usually read the reviews before I purchase it, if they have bad reviews I do not purchase, I know we have all got different tastes. Do any of you read reviews before you purchase a book

Erica James 'Love ad Devotion', quite a big book, so may not be on here for a few days, until this book is finished. Supposed to be a bit of a tearjerker.
