  1. And Daron from System had a brilliant 'two-pointer' beard going on. You could surely write a whole thesis based solely on that band's hair/facial hair! Crazy guys. I didn't talk to Nick, I was too scared  He did slip us a little smile though! Yeah, if you Google it you can see him in all his glory

It's just as well you're not bored, 'cause now I know you don't mind, I'll be back with every little bit of Josh/Queens/beard related news/excitement that noone else wants to listen to :D:tong:

  2. That's true! I think Shavo had a better beard though. But then again, I don't think Shavo ever played naked on stage like Nick so.... :D I once stood next to Nick at the bar of a pub! That was a good day.

Yeah, I must get tickets if this happens! It'd be my first time seeing them and for it to be a tour of their first album would be pretty cool!

I have enjoyed these Queens filled convos :D I think most would be more than a little bored of it by now!

  3. Hey! Welcome
  4. The No One Knows vid is a classic :D Those were the good old days when Nick Oliveri was still in the band! Heh the radio bits are crazy. I hope I don't fall asleep when I'm listening to it later, if I wake up to that it might just freak me out a little bit!

ARGH, look what I've just seen on Wiki:

In a 2010 interview, Josh Homme revealed that the band would re-release their self-titled first album, and that they would do a tour in support of this, only playing songs from their first release.

    :b7ydance:

  5. It's great, isn't it peace?! I've only just got around to watching the second season. I've seen two or three of the HP films and out of order, so I'm usually confused when watching! They're entertaining enough, the acting gets to me a bit though!
  6. Flight of the Conchords season two.
  7. It's so easy to slip in these cringeworthy phrases though, I find myself coming out with really embarrassing ones at time - I've no idea where they come from and even worse, can actually think of no suitable alternative! We'll just have to pretend that we're saying them facetiously :D

I adore the video for Go With the Flow! It's one of my favourite music videos. First it Giveth and The Sky is Fallin' have a really good sound I think, and the radio bits between the tracks are cool. Yep, it'll definitely be going on tonight :D

  8. Ordinarily I'd frown upon the use of that phrase, but given that it's been used in relation to an utterly cool-awesome* album, I'll let you off ;) Do you have a favourite track from it? It's difficult, they're all so good and flow so well! Now I'm gonna have to stick it on in the dark later, damn you! :D

Yeah I read Birdsong for school and I was very impressed, what with the epic war scenes and also the stuff back home in France etc. Gotta love the Faulks!

*And hope you'll do the same for me

  9. Kate Winslet. American Beauty or American Pie?
  10. Cinema. Sweet or salty popcorn?
  11. Ah, it works out well then! When is it you go? Have a fantastic time, and you'll have to tell me all about it to make me even more jealous!

  12. Well I never!
  13. Now there's a revelation! You've come this far, you may as well admit to Hollyoaks too....
  14. Closet fan? Or just can't be bothered to find the remote? I'm watching too!
  15. Wow, that reggae reggae sauce gets everywhere.
  16. Quiche, mash and sweetcorn with lots of salad cream
  17. A stodgy pot noodle.
  18. I like Keep The Aspidistra Flying - George Orwell. It just has a nice ring to it when you say it aloud.
  19. Salt and vinegar crisps. Because I've nothing else to do
  20. Hi Welcome to the forum!
  21. I agree that everyone else should not be penalised for Chartier's actions. I guess it does create an awkward situation, but I doubt any voters would be the least bit swayed by his silly pleas! Peacefield, your Oscars party sounds so cool! I wish I'd seen more of the nominees for best picture but out of those I have seen I'll definitely be rooting for The Hurt Locker (over Avatar).
  22. Ok, those two songs are still better than Daisy Dares you. I'll happily welcome Blue by Eiffel 65 as a sweet release from Number One Enemy!
  23. Has anyone else been unfortunate enough to encounter Daisy Dares You performing an utterley horrendous song that just repeats the words 'number one enemy' over and over to the point where you want to inflict serious damage either to your ears or your TV? Well I have, and the worst thing is, is that you can destroy your ears/TV all you like, the fact remains that the damage is done instantly upon exposure to the song and it will be stuck in your head forever.
  24. Yeah, I think it's being shown on Sky Movies, which I don't have either. I guess I could order it and then cancel the next day?! But even then I'm not sure I'd be able to stay up! They should definitely show it on a more universal channel! I know, lame excuse. I don't know what he was thinking! I do hope the film gets some wins, but he's just gone and tainted it a bit!
  25. Those threads probably should come with a warning! I'm watching Masterchef and it's having the same effect :D Enjoy your cuppa!
