  1. Starting Playing with Fire by Peter Robinson.
  2. The Inimitable Jeeves is the first Wodehouse book that I read. I liked it so much that I became a Wodehouse fan. Bertie's such a nitwit.
  3. I have no problem earmarking my mass-market paperbacks, but I can't do it to my hardcovers!
  4. I don't remember the It film much, not sure if I watched it all. I've been thinking about rereading Pet Sematary. I remember liking it, but I can't recall the whole story - so I've gotten curious....

The Federer vs Tommy Robredo match is starting. Hope it's a good match.
  8. Hi Katrina. Your job at the bookstore sounds great! Welcome to the forum.
  9. Well, I'm not too fond of quad bikers driving wherever they please. I live in a small town and people drive them on the street, on the cycling paths and sometimes even on the sidewalk. In winter it's the snowmobiles... The police give out tickets but it doesn't seem to stop many of them.
  10. Well it must of been a Stephen King novel - maybe Pet Sematary or Christine - but that was ages ago so I can't be sure!
  11. Well I really liked it. I've reread it a couple of times!
  12. My top three classics: Pride and Prejudice Persuasion Madame Bovary

  14. Hi Ceinwenn. Thanks for the welcome! Which part of Canada are you from?

  15. I loved it too. It was such a let-down that it was cancelled. Another show I love is Chuck. It came close to being cancelled but thankfully was renewed for a third season. Phew!
  16. Arsenic and Old Lace is a great film. I love Cary Grant.
  17. Hi Inver. Thanks for accepting my friend request. I'm sorry I missed your b-day. Happy Belated Birthday!

  18. I watched I Love You Man yesterday. It's pretty funny and strangely adorable.
  19. My Top 5: Django Reinhardt Miles Davis Jim Croce Oscar Peterson Queen

  21. Welcome to the forum Vanwa.
  22. I read most of the Stephen King books when I was in my twenties (quite a few years ago!) The Stand is my favorite. I remember enjoying Pet Sematary and It also -
  23. I carry a book in my bag and read whenever I have to wait - but I can't recall reading in a strange place.
