I recently found a piece of ribbon that a sweet old nun gave me years ago when I went to the monestary in my home town to play Dominos with a few of the elderly nuns. It brings back some good memories of that day (If you ever want to hear a nun curse, play Dominos with one!) It's a bit ironic that the particular piece of ribbon is currently in my copy of The Inferno...

So far I have been really liking The Inferno. The imagry is amazing, I feel as if I am able to see exactly what he is. At the end of every Canto is an illustration. The one at the end of Canto III (the Doomed Souls crossing the Acheron) is the most graphic and sorrowful one. It reminds me a bit of the photographs I have seen from the WWII concentration camps. Hopefully I can get in a few more chapters today. Since I have nothing better to do I'm sure I'll be able to get through XII

I'm hoping to make it through chapter 10 of The Inferno today. I'm just about to start 5 right now.

Janet Evanovich has some great books. The Stephanie Plum series is wonderful for a laugh.

The 3 that I watch regularly are Dancing With The Stars, The Bachelor/ette, and Hell's Kitchen. Season 14 of the Bachelor starts in 2 weeks and I can't wait!

Now they are saying her death could be related to complications with diabetes but her husband dosn't want to do an autopsy. You would think he would want to know why she died for closure at the very least.

You would love my home town then. I grew up in his birth place- Aberdeen. There is a park there called Storybook Land that has a yellow brick road that winds through a 'forest' and a castle and all sorts of fairytale stuff. It is actually pretty cool. Every year there is a huge Oz festival in Aberdeen. Hah. Mount Rushmore is beautiful, they are actually 2 different mountians that are carved now. Crazy Horse is another one that they are working on not too far from the faces. They have food too! Good food- hot dogs and popcorn and the like
