  1. Yes I agree It wouldn't really be appropriate to go any further as they are for young teenagers but it was another case of leading up to something and then being dissapointed. I am 22 I still really loved the first two books
  2. I really liked the first two books and I fell completely and utterley in love with Edward I think that it helped having the image of Rob Patts in my mind though I didn't like Breaking Dawn at all. Reasons: However... I will certainly read Twilight (the first one) again some day. My favourite part?
  3. Jane Eyre was the first book that came to my mind Tale of Two Cities is on my reading list I love Rebecca! Why didn't I think of that! It is a brilliant love story and the couple get through a LOT together!
  4. I have no idea... I am interested to see what other people have to say as well!
  5. Dumbledore always says some strange things in the films though. I don't know if he said this in the book (can't remember it anyway). In the film he says I was like 'wwhhhaaaaat?' Also, in one of the other films he randomly starts talking about the curtains hanging on Harry's bed
  6. I don't really take much notice of them. There are book club Qs in the back of We Need To Talk About Kevin
  7. brilliant book I studied it for my a-level english. I really should read it again

  13. this sounds really good I'll add it to my reading list. Thanks
  14. By all means give it a read. I just found LTROI quite 'shocking' but a fantastic book!
  15. I only read one book at a time so I can read it in about a week. About 10-15 minutes on a chapter. I read quite fastly when I am in a good flow.
  16. thank you I have read all of her Tudor books they are so good and they sparked a real interest in English history that I didn't realise I had I like it here and am slowly starting to settle in
  17. Yes but it has been two years since the last film so a few more days can't hurt
  18. thank you! It appears I was looking in totally the wrong place then
  19. I have read Jane Eyre several times. I love it I have Wide Sagarso Sea on my TBR pile

  21. Does anybody know when the new Wuthering Heights adaptation is due to start? I am desperate to watch it
  22. most disturbing? I have two... Let The Right One In - the content of it is quite disturbing. If you have read it then you will know what I mean. I kept thinking to myself 'do I want to be reading this?' Out by Natsup Kirino - it is a BRILLIANT book and I recommend it. It is kind of a thriller and I flew through it because it is so good but it is quite disturbing and graphic at some points. I have read Clockwork Orange and didn't find that disturbing..... maybe I missed something...
  23. there were parts in HP6 (I think eak!) where it became very repetitive when Harry was looking at the memories. The feeling of looking at the memories was described the same way about three times in a row ... anybody know what I am talking about?
