  1. awww, don't remind me about , that really got to me. It happened as quick as *snaps fingers*
  2. Haha, pretty much I think!! I don't think that he dwelled on it very long.
  3. Do you think that if that the ending would have been better?
  4. We have episodes on Sky Plus too, don't know what we would do with out it! I think that I may need to take a day out of my normal life to catch up with all of my sky plus viewing.....!!
  5. I love Hells Kitchen!! Haven't seen the bit with the eels tho, yuk!
  6. I'm from England. I was born and raised in Cornwall by the seaside, but moved to Leicester to go to uni and ended up staying here
  7. The only books that I had read in one sitting are the Harry Potters which I always purchased on the day of release and The Twilight books. I only purchased Twilight because it was offer and I finished it one sitting. I had to go and buy New Moon the next day becuase I couldn't wait to find out what happens next! I finished all four books in 5 days. I would have finished them quicker, but work got in the way

    Your sports

Wow, remind me not to get in to a fight with you Polly I don't really do much sport now although I used to play Hockey in school. I go swimming a few times a week, does that count?!
  9. I love Hollyoaks, one of my guilty pleasures. I have watched it since the very first episode, sad I know. Anyone have any thoughts at to what is going on with Ste, baby Lucas and that weird couple that have showed up all of a sudden?! Glad Hannah has got rid of Ash - is it me or does he just have that one creepy facial expressions *shudders*
  10. I really enjoyed Atonement, it was a good read.
  11. Ha Ha - I think that there would have been an outrage if that happened!
  12. I agree that it would have been more believable if I know we all like a happy ending though...!
  13. I voted two becuase I have one main book that I read and then I usually dip in and out of an old favourite like Twilight or Harry Potter at the same time. I read the second book when I don't feel like concentrating too much if that makes any sense? It's usually more light reading than my main book.
  14. I have just started reading Eclipse again as I haven't read it in a little while. I am just over half way through, and I had forgotten how much Jacob annoys me in the first half of the book!!!
  15. I wonder if Susan knew that she would cause all of this attention by going on the show?! What I did like about Susan is that she put the panel in their place. When will they ever learn not to judge a book by it's cover?! I would like to know what credentials Amanda and Piers have which mean they know enough to judge people's talent? I do agree with Michelle's earlier post when she said that she had heard the song sung better. I really love Les Mes as a musical, and I Dreamed a Dream is one of my favourite songs from it. I have seen this performed in the West End and it made the hairs on my neck stand up - it was amazing. Susan Boyle didn't make me feel that way. That's just my opinion though, lots of other people obviously loved her performance.
  16. I don't usually watch these kinds of shows as I get annoyed far too easily these days. However, I gave in to the hype and watched Susan on You Tube as I wanted to see what all of the fuss was about.....!!
  17. I agree with Roxi. The public like to support the underdog. This could be because they aren't very attractive or maybe becuase they get a sympathy vote like Gareth Gates did. I strongly believe that if GG did not have his stutter, people probably wouldn't have liked him so much. The people going on these shows must realise this too. How many times do people give a sob story to the judges on these talent shows in the hope that it helps get them through to the next round? I'm not trying to be heartless or uncaring, but how does this make any difference to a persons talent/ability? Susan Boyle is good, but not great. Given the right training etc she could improve, but so could most people. Amanda Holden really annoyed me during that particular performace. Tears in her eyes, a standing ovation, what was that all about? I have just realised that I am ranting, sorry!!
  18. I went to a wedding of someone I worked with and they had "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" for their first dance!
  19. Where are the Darkness these days? Are they still going as we haven't heard from them in a while! Their music vids make me chuckle
  20. mmmm, sounds good Joe!! Never had Baileys ice cream, but it sounds lush *mouth waters*
  21. My GoF is gross. The corners are all crinkled becuase I have a habit of reading in the bath, and the corners must have dipped in to the water.....
  22. Me too! I usually do it at work when I am wearing a white shirt which means that I have to sit for the rest of the day with food on me which I am sure my co-workers appreciate!
