  1. I felt the same way in New Moon - too much Jacob for my liking! But stick with it, it gets better! I read all books in less than a week - I was totally addicted! With regard to the film - I do like the film, not as much as I like the books though obviously. I think of the books and the films as 2 different things. I like RP in the movie, wasn't too keen on Kristen though as her voice grated on me a little. Kristen has started to grow on me though, she really looks the part.
  2. Hello and welcome - prepare to become addicted....
  3. Me neither!! I have only really been in to Doctor Who for the last few years, but I am totally addicted now!
  4. I guess that maybe JK felt the need to provide some sort of closure for all of the fans, hence the epilogue?!
  5. Me too - they have been making it for ages and ages! Didn't they start filming just after the Da Vinci Code came out?
  6. I can read in the car if I look up from the book every 10 mins or so, otherwise I start to feel sick!
  7. I wasn't too keen on the epilogue - far too "and they lived happily ever after" for me. I would have preferred that she hadn't bothered with it as I think that it ruined the ending a bit for me.
  8. ooooh, I hadn't thought about the knock 4 times thing, but that makes perfect sense! I'll miss David as the Doctor
  9. My mojo disappears occasionally.......When it does, I just re-read an old favourite until it starts to come back. I have read a few books lately where I haven't cared what happens to the characters etc and it has been a struggle to get to the end bad times.
  10. Angels and Demons was my favourite. I thought that the locations and subject matter were really interesting. I also found it slightly more believable than the Da Vinci Code if that makes any sense? I think that I may have liked the Da Vinci Code more than I did if it didn't have all of the hype surrounding it, although I did still enjoy it.
  11. 1. Foo Fighters 2. The Eagles 3. Sterephonics 4. The Beatles 5. White Stripes That was tough.....
  12. You have done so well to wait this long! I read it in one day - think my b/f thought that I had moved out as I stayed in the bedroom reading for hours and hours....
  13. I was going to wait for a cheap copy of Breaking Dawn, but I couldn't! I'm so impatient!!!
  14. hmmmmm, not sure what to have tonight. Maybe stir fry or something?! Something quick and easy!
  15. I think that I enjoyed it more on the second (and third) reads. I couldn't put it down the first time that I read it so I rushed through it whereas I take my time now.
  16. Hiya - I quite liked Bitten. Not as good as Twilight (!), but definately worth a read!

  17. I have just finished Bitten and I enjoyed it, so I am looking to read other books by the same author. I would definately recommend it.
  18. Those pics have got me excited for New Moon now!!
  19. I agree Nicola - I thought the end of Breaking Dawn was a bit of a cop out. Why spend most of the book leading up There was so much more that could have been done with the last book.
  20. I'm glad that I am not the only one who couldn't get in to it Roxi. I gave up a little way in to the book as I really wasn't enjoying it. It is one of the very few books that I have started and not finished. Maybe give it another go at some point in the future.
  21. I know!! The cheek of it - talking all through it when I was trying to concentrate. I'll have to stay up late so I can watch it in peace when he has gone to bed
  22. I totally agree! Have started watching the extras today, but my B/F keeps talking over it - grrr!!
  23. I loooooooooove music!! My iPod never leaves my side! Foo Fighters are my all time favourite band. I try to see them everytime they are touring. Dave Grohl - what a legend. I used to like RHCP until I saw them live and they totally changed my opinion about them. It looked like they didn't want to be there at all which isn't good when you have just spent your hard earned cash to go and see them. Maybe they were just having an 'off' day though, as a lot of you think that they are ace live. Stereophonics are really REALLY good live. I was never really in to them until I saw them perform and now I am at every gig I can get to. Plus, Kelly isn't too bad to look at either :eek2:
  24. I just like gold old fashioned vanilla - yummy!!
  25. Its quite a bit different in the book!! I imagined the Cullen House to look a lot different than it did in the film. I imagined panelled walls and stuff. I also thought that Edward's room would be massive! I also love Jasper in the baseball scene - Emmett was really good as well. Definately my favourite scene in the film. I like the canteen scene - it's good as you know that they can all hear what Jessica is saying!!
