  1. Hi Joe, welcome to the forum!
  2. It actually makes slightly uncomfortable viewing....!!
  3. I don't know why I have recently re-read Breaking Dawn in the hope that I may like it more, but it didn't work.
  4. Rosalie was a wasted character. Stephenie could have done so much more with her, but she seemed to be forgotten really until Breaking Dawn.
  5. The only real mention about them as a couple is how passionate they are. With all of the other couples, you see affection etc which you don't see with Rosalie and Emmett. When reading Breaking Dawn
  6. When reading the book, I sometimes wondered why Emmett and Rosalie were together as they are so so different. I guess that opposites attract!
  7. Emmett has a few comic moments throughout the saga which I like. I only semi-like Rosalie in Breaking Dawn because of her dialogue with Jacob. As for Esme, we never really learn a lot about her character which I think is a shame.
  8. I really like Jasper and Alice. I like how we get to find out more and more about Jasper the further we get in to the books. We do learn a little about Rosalie and Emmett, but I much prefer Jasper and Alice.
  9. That is a really nice one Roxi! I am Team Cullen in general. Any Cullen will do, I'm not picky.
  10. Haha - this has happened to me too! Sometimes the people in the shop look a bit shocked that you don't want the cheesy film cover.
  11. C'mon Roxi, you know you want to! All this Twilight talk has got me in the mood to watch the DVD now.....
  12. I'm not ashamed of my Twilight avatar! Peacefield - the neck is lovely!
  13. mmm, Johnny Depp! I wouldn't usually go for the movie book cover, but if that was the only one that the shop had, I would still buy it!
  14. I didn't mind Donna, but she wasn't my favourite as she was too much like some of Catherine Tate's other characters. She shouted a lot too which annoyed me a little.
  15. I think so. We have seen him since we found out that he becomes the Face of Boe, but not sure if we were actually told how it happens?! Capt Jack is so suave!
  16. I really REALLY love Captain Jack - definately my favourite. Do you think he will be making more appearances?
  17. haha - you just made me laugh out loud!! I appreciate all of you points. I still liked it though, there are some deleted scenes on the dvd which I think that they should have kept in -some more vamp scenes definately!
  18. I hope he doesn't try to continue how David T has played the part - he needs to bring something new to the Doctor. He is quite young though, so maybe he will be exictable!
  19. I loved the baseball scene, one of the best bits in the film in my opinion! I can't even listen to Muse without thinking about it. I would have liked to see more of the Cullens in the film. I really like Alice as a character and we didn't see much of her. They also didn't really say what Jaspers ability was, just that he looked like he was in pain the whole time.
  20. I know what you mean about the Romantic aspect, but I guess they are trying to appeal to the wider audience. Plus, the Doctor is portrayed as being lonely which is why they try to pair him off although it never works out as he is the Doctor! I love David Tennant as the Doctor - I like how he is so excitable all the time. Thats one of the reasons I like Doctor Who, each Doctor can bring something new to the table.
  21. Thats the problem with moving things from the page to the screen, things get missed. Some important things were missed in my opinion - Edward didn't appear to struggle as much with the physical contact like he did in the book. Do you think that you would have liked the film had you not read the book?!
  22. Who was your least favourite Doctor?
  23. I think that if you had watched the old ones at the time, they would have been fab, but compared with the new episodes, I agree with Michelle - they can be really really slow!!
