  1. Candyman 2 is all that's going through my head too They're apparently going to aim to release Breaking Dawn on June 30 2011 so only a year to wait after Eclipse, hopefully with BD we might get it at the same time as the US instead of having to wait nearly 2 weeks Oooh, wonder if that means it is definitely just going to be one film, should be interesting to see what Melissa Rosenberg comes up with for the script!
  2. Bill Condon has been confirmed as the director of Breaking Dawn - http://www.twilightlexicon.com/2010/04/28/confirmed-bill-condon-to-direct-breaking-dawn/ http://www.twilightlexicon.com/2010/04/28/full-press-release-stephenie-meyer-named-as-producer/ Oh boy, it could turn into a train wreck! Now we just need to know if it's going to be 1 or 2 films
  3. I am shamelessly addicted to the Dark Hunter books, I've read them all except the last book & thoroughly enjoyed every one Glad you enjoyed Covet, I liked it too - not as much as BDB but I think that's maybe because we've had more time to get to know all the characters in the Brotherhood. I've already pre-ordered Crave It'll be interesting to see how many books she's planning in this series!
  4. You can't beat a bit of escapism! I think the only series I've not tried in the ones you mention are the Raven Hart books so I've just ordered the first one I'm surprised I'm not sick of vamps yet but I think that's why I liked the Singh Guild Hunter books as they're not just straight vampire novels.
  5. About halfway through now LM and it's good, going to try and finish it later but real life is calling I meant to tell you about another author you have to try - if you haven't already! Nalini Singh, I think she's from New zealand but I've just read the first two books from two series she's written. You absolutely have to try Angel's Blood which is the first in the Guild Hunter series (there's two books so far, the second is Archangel's Kiss) and if you like that try her Psy-Changeling series Great review of Practical magic, I love the book nearly as much as the film but I'd read the book first so that could be why.
  6. The official Eclipse movie site is up & running now http://www.eclipsethemovie.com/
  7. Looks like we might get news about the Eclipse soundtrack soon, it's up for pre-order on Amazon US but not Amazon UK and I'm sure I saw somewhere that it'll be out around June 8th Saw Remember Me last weekend, this may be sacrilege but even though I'm a pretty huge RP fan I still can't quite decide whether I liked him in it or not Don't shoot me! I loved Ruby Jerins, still dislike Emilie de Ravin greatly and my mum was quite happy squeeing every time Mr Brosnan appeared on screen I also watched Dread last night, starring my beloved Jackson - very good indeed but I wish I'd watched during daylight hours
  8. Hey Esther, just wanted to let you know I got my preorder of Lover Mine this morning, almost 2 weeks early Started it already - so far it's pretty good and it's nice reading more about John Matthew!
  9. Yep, 12 is a rating - we have U, PG, 12A, 15 and 18. I guess 18 is the same as your R rating. All the Twilight films so far have been 12A which means 12 & over unaccompanied or under 12 if you're with at least one adult (I think) - I would say Breaking Dawn needs to be a 15 to do it justice but it won't be Oh and do watch 30 Days Of Night Marcia, it's fantastic - very gory and there's a twist too
  10. Wouldn't surprise me if Bel Ami got a ridiculously low certificate so they don't offend all the 12 year olds
  11. Well, it's true And who wouldn't want to see a bit more of RPattz on the "big" screen? Mind you, I suppose we'll have Bel Ami - wonder how many 12 year olds will be trying to sneak in to see that???
  12. I think Summit, Stephenie Meyer and Melissa Rosenberg need to realise that the majority of fans are actually not 12 and probably haven't been for quite some time
  13. A slice of pepperoni pizza
  14. It was good to see really nasty, bloodthirsty, violent vamps for a change - 30 Days is in my top 10 vamp movies! Yes, blowing curtains indeed - it'll be such a letdown
  15. If Eclipse is anywhere near as good as 30 Days Of Night I'll be a happy bunny indeed! It should be interesting to see how they do Breaking Dawn and manage to keep it to a 12 certificate, methinks there will be a lot of "fade to black" scenes in it
  16. I'll just have to wait for the dvd, at least I know they'll be showing Eclipse Pete Murphy will be amazing as a vamp, I can't wait to see the final result and what a bonus if he's on the soundtrack too! Thank you Mr Slade Know what you mean about Bauhaus, your secret's safe
  17. No worries hen I really hope it's not him but the rumour mill is in full flow and it's seeming like it could possibly be true Excellent news about Pete Murphy in Eclipse, I'm even more excited now! Talked my mum into coming to see Remember Me with me by mentioning Pierce Brosnan and not mentioning RPattz but my hicksville cinema isn't showing it
  18. Bill Condon is dire, as I mentioned way back in this thread I still haven't forgiven him for the big pile of **** formerly known as Candyman 2 Didn't think much of Dreamgirls and Gods & Monsters may have won an Oscar but I didn't particularly like that either.
  19. And now the Eclipse madness starts! http://www.robsessedpattinson.com/2010/03/new-eclipse-poster.html
  20. Well, that doubly sucks! It's tiny and it's Jacob - just thought of something but I'm sure you know what without me hinting I've lost track of how many times I watched the film this weekend It's safe to say I neglected everything & everyone and I now have a ton of catching up to do! The one good thing about the dvd, I can fast forward all the cringy Jacob bits where he's being a d****e
  21. For those in the UK, the sneak peek of Eclipse is on the Main Feature disc - you need to go into the Special Features menu (where there's also the option to watch 12 extended scenes from the movie) The commentary is not very good, Chris Weitz & Peter Lambert weren't even on the same continent when they did it! They talk about some interesting stuff but it's not the same, I miss cheeseburgers and they better have our boy back for the dvd of Eclipse
  22. New Moon
  23. Guess who's watching New Moon at home??? Me!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The DVD plopped through the letter box 7 minutes ago, just as well I don't have any plans for the day
  24. I'm sitting here watching yet another New Moon trailer And everybody needs a keyring or two!
  25. Good choice
