Hello and welcome to the forum Nice to meet another craft addict!
  2. Definitely not awful! I'd read the 3 Radcliffes plus a load of other 'gothic' titles in a very short time span and needed a (big) break - somehow I never got round to reading ASR at all, must rectify that soon
  3. I have A Sicilian Romance but I've never got round to reading it. I read Udolpho, Romance Of The Forest & The Italian all around the same time and sort of Radcliffe'd myself out
  4. Yes, it was one of them - she mentioned 2, the other was The Children of the Abbey which I've never read
  5. Looking forward to hearing what you think of it And if you do like it, try The Romance Of The Forest - this is my favourite Radcliffe book and the first one of hers that I tried.
  6. Mine too, I've seen it twice and I just can't bring myself to like it Unbreakable 2 is apparently about to go into production, don't think I shall bother seeing it if it ever gets made.
  7. They're not being re-published, they've always been in print. I think what's happened is people are talking about them more so, obviously, more people are hearing about them and every few years a new edition gets released with a new cover. I have the OUP edition of Mysteries Of Udolpho from 1998 but there is a new edition out that was published in 2008 with a different cover. The same happens with The Monk, The Castle Of Otranto and even Northanger Abbey And poppyshake, Mysteries Of Udolpho is definitely worth reading - I hope you enjoy it this time round!
  8. The Danish are getting a fab box set of New Moon - http://www.robsessedpattinson.com/2010/02/new-moon-bellas-box-3-dsc-special.html Why can't we get one like this?
  9. Welcome back to the forum
  10. Sixth Sense was good but it was spoilt for me because someone blurted out what was really going on 5 minutes into the film I think my favourite is The Village closely followed by Lady In The Water.
  11. Thought you might ETA - Looks like anyone in the US might not be able to get the streaming without paying for it! BBC have clamped down & put huge restrictions on what can & can't be shown and I guess they want people to watch BBCA.
  12. Yes, it is - should be interesting to see how well it translates.
  13. Yay!!! There's quite a few sites streaming it live too, if you check here - http://baftaawardslivestreaming.blogspot.com/2010/02/bafta-awards-2010-live-streaming-watch.html Might just be easier to watch it on BBCA though
  14. Well, Eclipse opens on July 9th in the UK and Last Airbender opens on August 13th so a month apart here
  15. Me! And not just because of Jackson, I was a secret fan of the Nick show and I love M. Night Shyamalan
  16. Don't forget the BAFTA's tonight folks 7.30pm BBC3 Red Carpet coverage & 9pm BBC1 for the actual awards. BBC America 8pm ET and red carpet coverage on E! Monday morning 7am ET. Looks like a few of the Twilight Saga actors are going to be there!
  17. I've read all his books and I adore them, there's just something about CdL's writing. Really hope you enjoy Moonheart, if that's your first and you do like it try Spiritwalk next
