  1. I had to read a lot about 'psycho' for an english exam practise once, it was very interesting. I have also seen 'The Birds' but not much else of his work, i shall have to watch loads xD I heard he like did random cameos in his own films sometimes.

  2. Yeah it wasn't really scary, apart from the knock knock scene and that old woman after being hit by the ambulance! It was quite unsettling and suspenseful though. Modern day horror is very poor for the most part, i despise the slasher flicks and the typical hollywood horror, it's so lazy!

  3. I haven't seen that yet, i might watch. The game series is certainly twisted x_x I saw a film called 'The Orphanage' in the cinema a few months back, it was very good and suspenseful, it's a kind of creepy film with some scary moments. The plot is quite interesting too.

  4. When i was in Bulgaria, the ice cream there was just so lovely, it was just a random guy with an ice cream van on the street corner lmao!
  5. Sausage roll and pastie from bakery, i r very lazy.
  6. Yeah, it was totally idk just believable because of the cheap, deliberate way it was all shot, felt like a real documentary. The whole lead up to the woods with the townspeople interviews, driving around etc was nice.

I gotta buy more films! At the momeeent, i have a couple. The Shining obviously xD then, i really am intruiged by The Exorcist despite it scaring the **** out of me, Evil Dead is just fun, The Sixth Sense, i liked The Grudge for the scare factor but i need to see the original. Donnie Darko is very cool but don't know if it's strictly 'horror'.

    Greetings

    Welcome!
  9. Yeeah! Where that guy's just standing there *shudder* it's so weird, like HOW did she die?? Was it the witch or did the guy who got lost go crazy?? Eek. That whole lead up to the cabin scene is really panicky. So effective.

    Hallo *wave*

Be afraid, be very afraid... LOL I'll fit right in then Thanks everyone ^-^
  12. I used to watch sci-fi occasionally when i had cable, alas atm i don't :( im sure i can find things online though. And yes!! That film is so unsettling! It's the fact that you don't see anything which is scary! Some parts of it are really creepy, the tent part and the ending spring to mind.

  13. Twilight zone :D i need to watch more episodes, i love random programs with supernatural stuff xD Yeah, perhaps it was visitors from a nearby or faraway place or just the government trying out new technology, was interesting all the same. I remember watching this film a while ago, it's kinda like a similar premise to the blair witch project. Anyway, this family 'video tape' is found and they get attacked by aliens in their house in the woods and i think eventually taken away by them, it's weird.

  14. Hahaha yeah! Bless them :'] i was content as being a nerd or a loser. To be honest, i didn't think much of beating people up, smoking around shady alleys, throwing bricks at windows, calling people all manner of insults etc was 'cool' i'd take reading a novel over that anytime.
  15. Granted i was very young, but i still remember exactly what i saw. Then the second was around six years ago, i was at my grandma's flat and staring out into the night and i saw this white light which i assumed to be a star, but then it started drifting and i thought hmm plane or helicopter. But then, it literally began to dart across the sky from one part to another within the space of seconds and i thought, that's got to be moving damn fast. And it carried on like this, then abruptly vanished.

Obviously i have no idea whether they were alien craft, government vehicles or whatever lmao, but it was interesting. *ramble*

  16. This is going to be a long account haha, so beware!

Well, they were two completely different events, i didn't get abducted or anything cool like that LOL just kinda saw them. First time i was really young and looking out of the bedroom window, i don't know why i just felt compelled to look. And right above the house i caught sight of this thing. It was circular and there were several coloured lights of red, green and yellow on the underside of it, it was revolving and then it passed over the house.

  17. I'd always read a book a week since primary school, having random stories and imaginings in my head was something i loved, then in high school i used to hang out in the library quite often and i picked up the third harry potter and after that i just read and read and read. So i guess i can call that a catalyst, even though i was reading often before that.
  18. Welcome to the forum!
  19. I want some vienetta right now :Q mm vanilla is plain but very nice anyway.
  20. This is a stupid question lmao, but have you ever seen a ufo? I have seen two, very weird experiences!

    Hi, just joined

Welcome to the forum and happy reading!
  22. I've always been fascinated by the night sky and thinking what lies beyond, it's wonderful and intimidating in it's possibilities. I saw a picture of another galaxy a while ago, and just the whole image of it stuck with me, life is so strange.

  23. Haha don't worry, she was fine, but just a wildcat really xD

  24. Yeah, it's nice when you get a good community feel ^^ And aww, i love looking at the stars and moon and such, there's a beautiful wonder about them which makes everything seem so small in comparison, like it kinda puts things in perspective.

  25. Hey thanks ^^ I love the forum already, it's very sociable which is good! I like your background, it's very mysterious and starry!
