    I've read fanfiction a time or two, a long time ago, but it doesn't really hold my interest (to those that do enjoy it however, kudos to you). I do prefer to stick to the fact that he original movie/book/TV show presents, but I can definitely see the appeal that fanfiction would hold.

    Hi, I'm Andaira, and I'm deathly afraid that I have lost my mojo. I've not had the time to read a single book in at least a month (I know, that in itself is a crime), and though I've requested a few books already to start reading again soon, I was having trouble keeping the concentration in place and being happy with the book that I was reading before I had to take a break. I confess it...I'm frightened. (Well, if that doesn't sound like a 'Dear Emily,...' letter )

    Like some here, I think that prologues are an important part of books. For me at least, they hold some piece of information that I might read when I'm reading the rest of the book. Just like with epilogues, I never skip prologues, and I do prefer it when a book has both. Though a prologue and epilogue are preferable.

    White rice, meat strips in a light tomato sauce, and potato chips. Oh, yes, and almond chocolate ice cream

    This might sound really strange to some people, but my favorite meal consists of white rice, two fried eggs, and french fries. It was a huge comfort food when I was little, which mom would make me, and I've never stopped loving it.

    Well I haven't been by for a LONG time since RL has kept me super busy. But I am going to try and return and get into the forum like before, since I did love this place and miss it. I also haven't picked up a book since who knows how long (the travesty!) so I'm attempting to do so once more. It's been the death of me not having the time for reading books, but I have updated the TBR pile (lots of books were taken out, some added in), and in a few days I should be able to snuggle up on a sofa with a good book and fully enjoy it.

    Things are going *g* I've been doing well, and getting less and less busy by the day (thankfully!) so I might be able to pop in here like I used to sooner than I thought, hopefully.

     

    I haven't been reading. I haven't read actually, since the day I had to take a break from the forum. It's been killing me. But...soon, more books are a'comin'. And I got me some Dean Koontz, H. P. Lovecraft, and John Saul and a few others put aside for then.

    lol, hey there. As you can see I got a chance so I popped in here to see how things are. Still not with much time to post, but at least peeking by.

    As far as I'm concerned, that's all that matters.

     

    My books is FANTASTIC!!! I won't be able to finish it today due to things I need to do, but I'll be finishing the last 16 chapters + epilogue tomorrow :D
