  8. Hi Clare - I'm not much of a spooky story person, but I did read and enjoy The Woman In Black by Susan Hill which you might like to try.
  9. It depends on the series - if they're one's I'm likely to re-read, then I will buy the whole lot, otherwise, it's usually a mixture of bought and borrowed. There's actually an interesting thread on reading book series here

  11. Hey Gemz! How are you getting on with The Princess Diaries? I love Meg Cabot's writing - settling down with one of her books is like sitting in a cosy armchair with a mug of hot chocolate in front of the fire :D

  12. Realised I'm getting very close to my next reading group meeting and hadn't started either book yet, so an unexpected couple of hours in Starbucks this morning, have found me 126 pages into A Spot of Bother by Mark Haddon. Pretty good so far.
  13. Cloudstreet sounds right up my street, Kylie, so I think I'll be adding that to my wishlist. I have Breath on the shelf waiting to be read, so I'll go with that one first, but will definitely still look at Cloudstreet even if I don't get on with Breath.
  14. Trees Worms or spiders?
