  1. Agreed. It was like 'omg my books are selling so well they love my fantasies lets make it utterly surreal!'
  2. Oh this is brilliant! Thank you!
  3. Its amazing. Its just, amazing. Its been my favourite classic since I was 12. ' I cannot express it, but surely you and every body have a notion that there is - or should be - an existence of yours beyond yourself? What were the use of my creation, if it were entirely contained here?' - Cathy, and probably my all time favourite quote from a book ever.
  4. Wuthering Heights Wuthering Heights Wuthering Heights Wuthering Heights Wuthering Heights!!!
  5. Maybe, but given how much I love my food, I'd be surprised if it could get any better!!
  6. Yups. I has Nollaig, a grandmother and 2 aunties and my confirmation name in the middle, and my surname. I'm not religious but I keep the confirmation name because it makes my name longer and more fun =P And thanks for the welcome! I love this place. Its so friendly and troll-free ^____^
  7. I was kinda sad when Twilight ended. For all the mocking I do of the series, I did enjoy it. I got through it in 3 days, and it was SO much information in so little time that I felt quite disappointed that I didn't drag it out.
  8. Yeah a lot of people love my name, or at the very least, how unique it is. (Which is funny since I have 4 middle names and they're all very ordinary ) Its also hilarious hearing foreigners (even english people) trying to pronounce it correctly with their accents.
  9. I'm the same as Chimera in that I can't really smell anything. At best, I might know that there is A smell present, but I'd never know what it was, or know it was there til someone pointed it out. And my sense of taste is very sharp. I can't eat spice food, coz its too strong for me, I adore sweet things and on the whole absolutely love food. Really, really love food. What about you Chimera?
  10. Mine wasn't exactly a spoiler, more like cryptic, but I spoilered it anyway.
  11. Well its an okay name outside Ireland, coz no one knows what it means. In Ireland however where 99% of the population don't have more than a few sentences of Irish, they're ALL smartasses when it comes to my name! 'Nollaig eh... your parents callled you Christmas did they? eh yeah, born at Christmas were ye?'
  12. LMAO sorry, my bad - WHEN it gets completed damnit, WHEN!!!
  13. .........Can we throw spoilers around like that?? =/ Anyway, yeah its totally creepy. Nothing can justify that, not even
  14. Well best of luck with it, be sure to let us know if it gets completed!
  15. I agree. His only saving grace is hes hot in the movie. For a 16 year old >_< He doesn't look 16!!!!!! >___<
  16. I wish I had your patience. I adore jigsaw puzzles, but I never have such patience with them!!
  17. I read that blurb about the name she came up with. I can't remember where I heard the Mormon thing. Not that it really matters, I actually like the name Renesmee. As for the thing that happened with Jacob, i knew about the general outline of book 4 because i read it, so as soon as I read about the other event in book 2 or 3, i thought 'oh yeah, thats how jacob will get a happy ending in book 4.'
  18. Apparently its something to do with Steph's religion... or so I'm told. And yeah, New Moon was brilliant otherwise, just shorten the middle and extend the bit in Italy and away we go. It'll be interesting to see how the New Moon movie copes with Not-Much-Edward. WHOOPS! Posted at the same time. The above was for rach.at.the.disco. Regarding the ending for Jacob, I saw that coming as soon as I read about the similar event in book 2 or 3, whichever it was.
  19. Oh I didn't even read chunks of Jacob's narration. I skimmed to the bits where he was in the house and things were happening with Bella and Renesmee.
  20. Well, I like a happy ending. But I just think things got blown out of proportion, and for all of it the book was completely anti-climactic.
  21. I have no sense of smell either Chimera!! And nobody ever believes me til i stick my nose near some stinking rubbish or something!
  22. 1) I love physics and astrophysics, and had I been good at Maths I would have studied the latter at college. 2) I suck at Maths 3) My favourite artists are Dali, Van Gogh and Monet. 4) I have a tattoo on my right wrist which says, 'And some days all I do is Watch The Sky' - a line which references a song I love. 5) My real name (Nollaig) is the Irish version of Noelle, but also means Christmas/December.
  23. Well the good thing about Inkheart is you CAN just take the first book on its own... I liked the second and third ones because I'm very partial to Dustfinger and I enjoyed tracing his character within his own world. But Inkheart is a great stand-alone story too.
  24. Haha awh. I studied Julius Caesar when I was 15 and Hamlet when I was 18, so I remember those well. In the last three years I've studied King Lear, The Tempest, The Winter's Tale, Twelfth Night, Measure For Measure, Othello, Hamlet AGAIN and The Merchant of Venice. So I can't tell them apart, despite having done essays and exams on them.
