Ant-Man Not as good as some other recent Marvel films, but not bad. Kind of reminded me of the first Iron Man film (plot wise). Looking forward to seeing how the character works with others in the next Captain America film.

Excellent book (for the most part) but I'm struggling to see how they will string a series out of it (unless it is a Strange and Norrell type mini-series).

The Kindle Paperwhite is down from £109 to £79 on Amazon's UK site today.

I think she is dead. It may not be the last we see of Jenna Colman this series, but I don't think Clara is coming back from this one.

Are these YA books?

This series - for reasons I can't quite fathom, as nothing seems to have changed in a lot of ways - has been a big improvement on the last one. Perhaps it is because Capaldi and Coleman are both more settled in their roles or because the stories play out better over two parts (in some ways it is telling that the only duff episode this year has been a single parter). The guest cast have also been pretty good, with Michelle Gomez, Maisie Williams and Ingrid Oliver/Jemma Redgrave all being excellent. What ever, I'm liking it. Oh, and tomorrow night is all about Clara and me. (I can dream . . .)

I didn't watch it until late on Monday, and was pretty tired when I did, but I must admit that I was thinking the same. I need to watch it again, I can't even remember how it ended!

The only one I can't stand is Boycott, mainly because no matter how well the team plays he always finds something to whinge about (and they are usually the same gripes he's already expressed one hundred times before - lack of a decent spin-bowler and poor opening batsmen being the lead two at the mo!).

Have you ever had Twiglets? (don't know if you can get them in the US). It's basically the coating on them, but in a jar, so you can spread it on stuff. If I had to describe it I'd say it is possibly like a really rich beef flavour mixed with soy sauce.

The Phantom Menace was a pretty good film, and Jar Jar Binks was awesome! *Raven wins*

The weather forecast here is for a dry morning with sunny intervals so, of course, it is now raining. Rather than spending time polling the public for names for storms - that have never needed them before now - I'd much prefer they focus on getting their forecasting right!

Books are rubbish.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes James Franco can't act, can he? He was wooden in the Spider-man films and he's pretty wooden in this as well. Otherwise pretty good. (except I don't like seeing a nasty David Hewlett, all I end up thinking is "why is McKay being so mean?").
