You're right! I bet it won't be long before people are sick of True Blood too
..(at least Eric is one seriously hot vampire, with attitude!) -
thank you! It's been hard work and its still a work in progress but I'm very proud of it, and thank you for the comments on the pics!
I am indeed reading a Stuart MacBride
'Cold Granite', the first of a series. So far it seems pretty good, unfortunately my mojo is still off in pale blue yonder somewhere
Have you read anything by him? How've you been btw? Did you have a good weekend? Hope you're well

Get you! Half a stone! Wow, well done
Hope it continues for you
Yeah I have to admit the 3rd Dex book wasn't as good as 1 and 2 but don't worry, it picks up in number 4

I haven't read any Rankin at all. For some reason it just doesn't appeal to me. Have you read anything by Erica Spindler? I read two that Lexiepiper lent to me called Cause for Alarm and In Silence and have to say I was really surprised. They were really good thrillers. Another of my favs is Richard Montanari, his The Rosary Girls, The Skin Gods, Broken Angels and Play Dead is a terrific series.
Does Emma vacuum?
Oh you are so lucky! That's one thing Kookie hates with a passion, anything else she grumbles her way through but just detests vacuuming. She's keeping well yes, bored and looking forward to school again, but other than that, she's grand. She wants a summer job but is just too young yet, I admire her ambition though!
I'll pass on you were askin after her

Oh dear god, no more chips? That's awful! I think I'd just have to stick to the tabs

I'm not sure when Dex will be out apart from it's sometime 2010, I'll definately be getting a copy of it
Did you enjoy the series? Shame about your mojo too, it's awful when that happens isn't it? I hope it picks up soon. I was on such a roll too
This is indeed my first MacBride novel. I've heard it's pretty good too, it's a shame I don't actually want to read at the min
Have you read any of his?Kookie needs a bit of prodding to tidy her room, but she's really a sweetheart when she wants to be, she doesn't mind ironing though thank goodness
Shame you can't get Emma to be more enthusiastic about cleaning the rest of the house, how good would that be! Heaven!

Ugh, that's not good, I hate allergies. I'm allergic to something, don't know what, along with penicillan. I have to take anti-histamines every day otherwise I tend to swell up in very inconvenient places including my tongue! This, I believe can be pretty dangerous so I don't mind taking the tablets
I hope you get your allergy sorted soon, horrible to have. Thanks for the house comments
, I did have to have a quick tidy before I took pics, I even made Kookie get off her pc for 10 mins! Still a bit to go with the house but its coming along. I'm reading Cold Granite by Stuart MacBride at the min. I use the term 'reading' loosely ... my mojo up and gone again
What about you? What are you reading? -
They are quite rare aren't they! We're normally decorating as we've just moved so it's really nice to do nothing for a change. I didn't know you play guitar! My Dad played and so did my brother. I used to play the cello and the piano myself, wouldn't know where to start now, shame really. Sfiddley bar eh? Get you! Hope you have a great evening
