  5. Oh Mitchell is gorgeous with his smouldering good looks and he does have his caring sensitive moments, but George is such a sweetheart and funny with it! Decisions ... decisions.....I'd have to say Mitchell I always was a sucker for the bad boy type
  6. I've read all of Karin Slaughter's Grant County series up to Skin Privilage and its on my bookshelf waiting patiently TBR along with Tryptich! I've liked them all so far and hope these to live up to the rest
  7. Oh No!! Poor Mitchell!! Please please let him be ok!! Will he live? Will Annie go through the door? and will George finally put his curse to good use? :lol Funny I said that to my OH as we watched it . I hope Herrick gets his comeuppance from George next week instead I hope the Mitchell, George and Annie are all in it!
  8. Hi Aaron to the forum!
  9. Oh you never know, he might surprise you, he's probably waiting until everything is all sorted with his degree and all, knowing him!

  10. :haha: He would need to get a move on then and get down on one knee! :giggle:
  11. thank you! 20 years! I can hardly believe it  It was a very low key celebration, just me and him and a bottle of plonk! Postponing any celebrations until we move and get settled :D

  12. Morning to you too :D

Must have been strange being on a forum where you seemed to be the only one reading ! I think this forum is getting even busier! I used to come on and be able to get through all my unread posts, reading every one. Now I regularly have to mark all threads as read, otherwise it would be in the thousands by now! Its the first forum I've joined so I thought they were all like this.

I had a great night last night so I'm afraid I'm a wee tad fragile this morning :o It was so worth it though ;) On here for another ten mins then off to get dressed :)

  13. .... Actually you can get them in Tescos! I would usually get them in a health food shop, Holland & Barrat, or somewhere like it, they have loads of stuff coated in yoghurt
  14. Me too. I loved it. Robert De Niro is brilliant in it!
  15. Hi Yvonne to the forum. Hope you enjoy it here
  16. Bookshops are a treat though. Theres nothing nicer than a browsing day in a bookshop with a few purchases thrown in. I also buy a lot of books in charity shops too
  17. I love this show! Both myself and Kookie watch it
  18. Thanks  I'm sure my new GP will be ok and I'm sure us two bookworms will both be fine soon enough :D It was just before my op I discovered the forum and I'm glad I did. It was a great help when I was off my feet. I've also met some great friends (including your good self of course :D). Its great to have someone to chat to, especially a fellow book addict!! I am so addicted though, I even paid for premium membership! :o

You're so right about coming off tonight though. Even though I love coming on, I love my hubby more!

  19. Gosh thats a really great idea!
  20. I know its truely amazing how many people have suffered with the big D, I call my tablets my happy tablets lol I've been on them on and off (mostly on) for 15 yrs. Firstly because of post natal depression and then because I was bad with my back and arthritis. I know how you feel about a diff shrink too. When I moved the last time, and my doc told me I'd have to change to another GP, I cried my eyes out with worry! I've only met my new GP once so still early days. Think it'll be ok.

On another note ... its my 20th wedding anniversary today! 20 years, can you believe it? doesn't feel like it, feels like about 10. Thats good right? Means its not dragging by  Gonna postpone any celebrations though until we move, haven't got the time, so just gonna have a wee drink tonight like a mini celebration just the two of us! :D

(I will buy Dr Jekyll the next time I see it. Promise.)

  21. Well I hope the psychiatrist soon gets you sorted out with something that helps. For me it took a couple of years to find something that did, so I guess you're almost there! I really do hope you find something soon, its a hateful thing to have to suffer. I'm sure the financial stress didn't help either so I'm glad thats sorted at least

You've put me in to mood to buy books again :irked: I think the charity shops may be getting a visit from me rather soon to see if they have any new stuff ;) I hope you enjoy Grave Sight too, although I wouldn't rush to get The Picture of Dorian Gray unless you particularly like Oscar Wilde  I found it rather tedious

  22. Good for you! That'll leave more money for books!
  23. Apparently so!
  24. Now you're just showing off! I do this too ... when I remember!
  25. Yes I've seen the Dr Jekyll story on its own (almost bought it twice! ) so I think I'll go for that then. Good to hear another recommend for The Book fo Lost Things too. Thanks!
