  1. I'll try and do a little reading this weekend
  2. Happy reading in 2017! Looking forward to reading your reviews, as always
  3. I hope 2017 is a much better year for you reading-wise than 2016 was! I wish you will find many wonderful literary gems this year
  4. I hope you have a wonderful reading year in 2017, Alexander the Great! By the way, I read somewhere that House of Leaves is the favorite book of one of your friends, and as they'd read the e-book version, you gave them a tree book version as a gift. I thought that was really nice of you
  5. I hope you have a great reading year in 2017! I'm eagerly looking forward to hearing your thoughts on The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay!
  6. I hope you have a brilliant reading year in 2017, Chrissy!
  7. I hope you have the bestest of reading years in 2017, Diane!
  8. Oh yay!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! I ordered mine on 1.1., and I was hoping it would be sent on 2.1., which it was... Then I was hoping that it would only take the 1 day to be delivered, and it was... It got here so quickly! I'd been prepared to have to wait till Thursday, but it arrived on Tuesday, the soonest day possible! I had such a crappy day at work that day, that I was all the more excited about the package arriving so soon
  9. Hello bobblybear, I hope you have a fantastic reading year in 2017! Oh, blasted crap! I was looking forward to going over your TBR! But I'll just then go through the Kindle TBR, yes? Oooh, these are all great books! I hope you enjoy them all! I came in this thread, thinking, 'I wonder if it might be possibly that bobblybear has added this challenge to her lists on her reading log...' and there it was! I wish you all the best with this one!
  10. I hope 2017 is much better for you than 2016 was, Anna! Both reading-wise and other-wise
  11. Ooh, what great books in the pictures! Well I've not actually read any of them, I've only read The Eyre Affair by Jasper Fforde but like you, I fully intend to read more by him! And the Jim Butcher books look great, I have a few books by him waiting to be read I hope you have a fabulous reading year in 2017!
  12. What a wonderfully organized reading log, and so many lists! I wish you a wonderful reading year 2017, willoyd!
  13. I wish you the most excellent reading year in 2017, Alexi! Especially since your reading in 2016 wasn't that great, in your own words. At least you had a smashing year in other personal ways, so it was a winner year in that way! Oh wow, you have so many great books to read! I'm jealous you get to read these for the first time!
  14. I hope you have a fantastic reading year in 2017, Nollaig!
  15. I wish you the most amazing reading year in 2017, Jänet! I really hope you'll enjoy The Girl on the 6.27 by Jean-Paul Didierlaurent and Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell by Susanna Clarke when you get to them
  16. I hope you have a fabulous reading year in 2017, Claire! And I really hope you'll enjoy Middlesex when you get to it
  17. Oh yay, I didn't know you've seen it, too! I don't think any of my friends (in Finland) have watched it, so I'm always surprised and excited to hear someone's seen the series! I had such a huge crush on the character played by Seth Rogen...
  18. I want to eat the washi tape, it's so pretty and cute And thanks! Yes I, too, hope that wonderful things will happen. Wouldn't it be really sad if nothing did happen and the pages were left empty
  19. And a very happy reading year to you, too, Madeleine!
  20. I hope you have a smashing year of reading in 2017, Michelle!
  21. I want to post two pictures. In the first one you can see my pink Leuchtturm 1917, which I had to order online from someone who has a notebook store here in Finland, the bookstores not having any in stock. The postcard you see in the picture is something that the notebook keeper attached to the package Love it! In the second picture you can see the washi tape I bought. (You can also see that I managed to get the tape upside down in two places I hadn't noticed the golden hearts and so didn't know you couldn't just tape the damn thing whichever way you want It doesn't bother me, though ) The page is titled 'The things that will likely end up in my history books', meaning I want to list down the great things that will happen in 2017 and which I will want to write down in my diary. I thought it would be wonderful to keep a list of those in my BuJo As you can see, so far the page is empty
  22. I watched The One I Love the other day. What an odd movie I have a crush on Mark Duplass
  23. Me, too! I could just sit and watch people's BuJos on Youtube for hours And image google them and look at the prettyful pictures This is the one thing that annoys me... I wish my handwriting was a lot more fancy and I wish I could do all sorts of calligraphy, and I wish I could draw really well... I'd love my BuJo to be really artistic, too! But I'm going to try to just have fun with it, and make it my own - even if that means it's not going to be that fancy. No one could fault you for buying three I think a lot of people on here are pretty huge notebookaholics... We actually have a thread on the subject You have on, too! So cool! You got really, really lucky! For one thing, I couldn't find any LT1917's at the two bookstore chains we have here, and second, they cost quite a bit, don't they! Is it easy to find LT1917's over there, in bookstores? 6 notebooks.... Lucky barsteward! Thank you so much for posting pictures! I loved going through them I'm not artistic, either, so I felt like I needed something extra to make it nicer... Went and bought washi tape! (Also learned a new word: washi tape). I found a really cute one, too! It's pink with golden xoxoxoxo going on and on, in two rows. This reminds me: Do you keep your BuJo at home or do you guys take it everywhere you go, kind of like a calendar/journal? I spent many happy hours on my BuJo on Wednesday I'm in love with it!
  24. I hope you have a great reading year 2017, muggle not! What a coinkydinky, I keep seeing this title here and there these days and I need to add it to my wishlist before I forget. Glad you enjoyed it!
  25. I used to borrow one of their concert DVDs from the library as a teen and watch it over and over again So I'm pretty familiar with some of their reoccurring stuff and thus won't be phased too much, I hope... I can't wait!!!
