    Hello,

Welcome to the forum, Elin! Enjoy! =)
  2. My favorite color is green. I want to move to San Francisco in the worst way! I like everything around me to be clean and organized. I've been with my boyfriend for 12 years and I love him to death! We have no plans to marry and I see nothing wrong that. Wish my friends and family agreed. I'm obsessed with pajamas! I own over 20 pajama pants and they all have their own tank top to match. I wear a different pair to bed every night.
  3. LOL! I know what you mean!
  4. Kell, I just stumbled upon this review and thought you'd like to see it. =) Mac Reads ~ Her Fearful Symmetry
  5. Mac, I loved your review for The Five People You Meet in Heaven. I felt exactly as you did when I finished reading it; just wish I had been in the same setting. Also, I'm so glad I stumbled upon your review of Her Fearful Symmetry. I've been hesitant to read it because of the many mixed reviews I’ve seen, but I'm definitely going to give it a try now. Thanks! =)
  6. USA (New York)
  7. Chicken parm hero.
  8. Loving Abby's new one and Mac's Calvin and Hobbes avatars. Both bring back great memories!
  9. Can't say that I blame you! I just started reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower, then I'm going to start re-reading To Kill a Mockingbird.
  10. Tangerine - Led Zeppelin
  11. I finally finished The Prince of Tides by Pat Conroy. I thoroughly disliked it! Going to start The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky next.
  12. The Prince of Tides by Pat Conroy Synopsis: Tom Wingo, a middle-aged high school football coach and English teacher, is summoned from his home in Charleston, South Carolina to New York City to attend to his twin sister Savannah, who has remained comatose since attempting suicide. Savannah's psychiatrist, Susan Lowenstein, wants Tom to fill in many of the details in Savannah's upbringing. As Tom tells the Wingo story to Susan, he begins to uncover long-repressed memories, revealing some terrible family secrets. Gradually, the reasons why Savannah has tried to kill herself become evident. Courtesy of overstock.com Review: Ugh! I don’t even know where to start! The Prince of Tides was boring and pointless, not to mention a huge waste of my time. The book was one big build up that went nowhere! I seriously have to learn to stop forcing myself to finish books I’m not enjoying. I give it a 2/5.
  13. Shadowboxer - Fiona Apple
  14. Welcome to the forum! Enjoy! =)
  15. Thanks, Abby! =) I love the idea for the To Kill a Mockingbird chat! It doesn't matter to me when we do it. Just let me know what you all decide and I'll do my best to be here.
  16. Kylie, I’m insanely jealous of your bookshelves! And I love, love, LOVE your purple chair! I think I need to go tidy up my own bookshelves now...
  17. Thanks! =) You're right, it makes no sense! I know it's a long season, but they could have done back to back episodes on Thursdays to fit it all in. I was hoping to be all caught up by the 9th, but the DVD doesn't come out till August 31st so I don't think that will be happening now.
  18. I have finally gone through the whole list! So far I've read 29 books from the list and I've added 106 books to my TBR list. I'm so grateful that I found this thread because it opened me up to so many great books. Thanks! =)
  19. I guess when the CW said they were re-airing The Vampire Diaries this summer they actually meant they were only re-airing the first half of the season and the last half of the season since I just watched episode 6: "The Lost Girls" and then it jumped to episode 14: "Fool Me Once." I've been looking all over the internet for the episodes I'm missing, but I can only find it on amazon for $2 an episode, and with seven episodes to buy I might as well just wait for the DVD to come out. How am I supposed to make it through two weeks without my Stefan and Damon fix?! Oh, no! I guess this means I'm addicted?
  20. Welcome to the forum, Stormi! Enjoy! =)
  21. Welcome to the forum, Remy! Enjoy! =)

  23. Jar of Hearts - Christina Perri
  24. Happy Birthday! =)

  25. Thanks, I'll keep that in mind when I get around to reading it. =) I’m still reading The Prince of Tides. So far it’s just ok.
