  1. I am on LT as moraymaid I've found Nici, Louisedog, and Betheny G and sent invitations but I can't find Charm:irked:

I have tried to find you to add you but I cannot find you!

I am The_Library_Nook if you, or anyone, wants to add me.

  2. I want to grow vegetables in pots, we live in a flat and don't have a garden just a small outside space that I am risking putting some pots on. I am off to the garden centre later and wondered whether anyone had some hints and tips for me? So far I have got some cherry tomato seeds and pepper seeds.

    Thanks for reading!

  3. No one would leave the BCF!! It's the best book forum on the web -- absolutely!:welcomebcf:

lol I agree, haven't been on for weeks but still think about the posts I am missing and come on as soon as I have a chance:)

LibraryThing is the only other site I use and have been visiting there daily as I am waiting for collections so much. Goodreads I never managed to get into. Is it worth a go do you reckon?

  4. I overheard a conversation in the staffroom today where someone said they had caught a book so I excitedly told them I was involved in BC. However I deliberately didn't give them my BC name because I wanted to keep that separate from school and people directly in my life. Is anyone else the same or do you proudly tell people your BC name and names on here, LT etc?

  5. I would have no idea if it wasn't for people's lists and reviews on here. I have not read books seriously since I was maybe 16, and even then my reading was confined to a very limited number of authors and genres.

Glad to see you are getting together a great list! I find it wonderful all the recommendations and ideas I get on here. The problem is that I have lots of ideas of my own not mentioned here so my Wishlist and TBR pile get huge!

  6.

And then I got in trouble. I had only brought those two books, ....

Janet Evanovich: Eleven on Top. Of course, if I'm about to read a book that's part of a series, I WILL want to start with number eleven. :) I thought it was a funny book and I will keep an eye out for more Stephanie Plum-novels, when I feel like light reading. I guess I won't bother to read them in order..

Oh no, I hate when I run out of books! Janet Evanovich are a great choice, I like them because they are a light easy read that always give me a laugh:)

  7. I found it a really quick and flowing read. I love the beginning how it all starts, it's a great image, i can still remember the exact scene now and i've only read it once. The ending was a little disappointing imo but i did enjoy the overall vibe of the book. I think it's just a good King novel though, definitely not one of his best.

    :)

That first scene is great, I think I even had to read it aloud to share with lovely Mr Nook!
