I want to go to Halifax on sat to have a look there too

I ended up buying Mysteries of Udolpho as it was mentioned so many times in Northanger Abbey and it is also in my 1001 books book too

Far too many!!!! I keep buying books or putting them on my wish list

I loved libraries as a kid but i stopped going to my village library as the woman who worked there was an evil miserable witch so we used to go to the bigger library!!! My friend who was pregnant read loads of kids books when she was pregnant so the baby could get happy book vibes!!!

My Oh laughs when i tell him i am reading a chunk challenge book as he calls one of my cats Chunk and says to him it sounds like i am teaching the cat to read.Poor Kitty it the one on my Avatar too

No but i am looking forward to moving as they have a huge library which i am looking forward to using

I tend to leave them lying around so i look more intelligent!! Then they catch me talking to the cat or something or like friday running into picnic tables and the illusion is shattered

I am so frustrated with the house move i cannot find my list of books which i ahve read in jan and feb to add to my list of read books

I prefer it to be top secret, i like the hype but i like the fact that nothing about the story line to spoil the book comes out

Also a friend of mine read them in the 1960's and they gave her nightmares!

I love Kelley Armstong and i have a few more of her books i think i just need the new one and industrial magic for the set!! They are excellent very readable books

I lovbe his books has anybody else read any of them? I have mainly read the Black Magic ones and i have enjoyed everyone i have read so far, i have some of the historical adventure ones to try as well as i have got a job lot off ebay, i love the old fashioned covers they are fab. Although reading one with naked ladies on the front with their boobies out and a goats head on the back raised a few eyebrows on the bus note to self must read more senisble books in public. My mum got me into them wheni was 15 she gave me her copies from when she was 15 too so where possible i try to collect the editions of the same set. Also can i point out that Mr W. has never participated in nor does he condone Black Magic, I am struggling to type this with my black cat sat on my arms!!!! My mum says he was very poular in the 1960's a chat show darling too

How are you finding the Anita Blake books? I ahve them all but i think i shall have re read them soon as the early ones are excellent

I am looking forward to starting them but i might have to dig them out as due to house move all my books are in boxes

I was very bored temping and i googles book forums and i found it, i neede a book forum as i love reading but alot of my friends do not read and i neede to ralk books

I agree and i found the dramatisation really helped me get into the book and picture Bath and the Abbey alot easier in the correct period too

Had a bath and finished Norhanger Abbey and i really enjoyed it, not too big a read either

OH likes to look for records so he never complains about looking in charity shops

i have got obsessed with looking at the books i have read and the TBR books, books i would like to read and books i am not interested in!

I nearly finished Northanger Abbey in a couple of sittings yesterday and i am really enjoying it too, i think it helps as they were on TV recently but i like to see the differences between the TV and the books. I would have finished it but i had an arguement with OH and too mad to think!!

Are they doing a graphic novel prequel or the whole series in graphic novels
