I made a start with my B&Q vouchers today - I got a new rosemary (I kept forgetting to water my old one so it's looking a bit pitiful....), some peas and lots of fushcias so weather permitting I should be in the garden this weekend! Can't wait!
PP, your yew tree looks very nice - how tall does it get?
I am off to B&Q on Friday to buy lots and lots of bark to finish of my borders (my garden was totally overgrown when i moved in and finally after 3 years it is nearly finished!
Mum and Dad bought me an Azalia and Robbie has got me a Clemetis so i will be planting them in the next couple of days - it's all very exciting!
Oh and i will sow my sunflower seeds soon and also start thinking about getting some snap peas seeds! And i also want to try raspberries this year as well!
I keep the best ones on my bookshelf to be read again and to lend to my friends and the rest i take to the second hand book shop near me to swop for new books
Iv'e just made some crispy marshmellow (sp?) cakes and they are in the fridge setting -yum yum - although i made some last week and i ate most of them....not good for the waistline but they are just sooooo tasty!
Yep I have to have complete silence as well, no TV or anything. Which is probably why i read so much more in the summer as i sit in the garden and all i hear are birds!
Well I'm still reading IT - this must be an all time record for me for how long it takes to read a book
And the annoying thing is i have got so many good books waiting to be read that i can't touch until iv'e finished IT.....
My garden is not going to be happy if we get this snow we are expected to i have dead headed and un-fleeced everything..I think i will be bringing all the fragile plants in pots in doors for a few days...Oh well that will teach me for thinking spring was here!
