    I got the local council to come and take it down and take it away as it was so dangerous it was nearly falling apart, i was too scared to let Robbie go anywhere near it! Men like jobs like that don't they!

    Thanks everyone! My Dad has been a huge help as he layed the patio and did all the "heavy" work. It's nice to sit out there now and just look at the plants

    I hope you don't mind, but I after going on about what my garden looked like when i moved in and all the work i have done since, i thought i would attach seom photos of the before and after: This photo was taken when i moved in: And these photo's were taken yesterday: There is still a bit to do but I'm getting there!
  5. That episode was on last week and i had a little cry (again).
  6. I go to our local Library for non fiction but not for fiction as i like to own fiction books and keep them on my bookshelf.... However our local Library is very good and the children's section is very good. Our local Library was on Richard and Judy a couple of weeks ago as they were reviewing a book there!

Jean Auel - The Valley of Horses 9. Barbara Erskine - Child of the Pheonix 10. Virginia Andrews - Flowers in the Attic I really must start reading books by different authors!!! Hope this helps.

  16. I try to support the cancer charity shops as much as i can regardless of the price
  17. I also have these books sitting on my bookshelf waiting to be read! I have been told that the first one is really quite hard to get into but you have to read it and then the rest of the books are brilliant...

    I have quite a few herbs in my garden and like Judy said, it's nice as they stay green all year round.
  19. Unfortunately i never come across any other books which are like the Earths Children so i would also be very interested if anyone could recommend any... However if you like historical books in general, the books i mentioned are fantastic!

  22. For me there are two that i can think of... Titanic will do it for me everytime - the part where the ship is sinking and the orchester are playing on the deck and you see the couple laying in bed and the plates crashing down. I cry every single time And the other is The Crow, I always have a sniff watching this film....
  23. Dad, Robbie and I went for Brunch at Cafe Uno today so i had their all day breakfast and a malibu and coke!!! I felt very naughty......!
