    I'm going to be back out in the garden tomorrow - I'm going to cut the grass now it is dry and give the patio's a good sweep. And i'm going to sow my sunflower seeds so that i get really tall ones this year!

  3. I'm like that too! I have to have a book to read or i feel really lost... I have re-read the Flowers in the Attic series and the Heaven series by Virginia Andrews several times, although not for a while now. But they are still all on my book shelf.

    What a lovely picture! My daffodils are all out now but my tulips are taking their time... i love this time of year in the garden

    I love gardening! I was out there yesterday making the most of the good weather, just doing a bit of tidying up and looking at all my plants budding. Just got to wait for the grass to dry out a bit and then i can cut it and it will all look a lot neater! I will be buying lot's of new plants at the end of the month so then i will be out there planting...

  8. I went out for lunch today with my Mum and had a chocolate brownie with icecream covered with hot chocolate fudge sauce! Delicous!

  12. Another book to add to the ones i have to buy - Stephen King - The Stand
  13. IT by Stephen King is definately a doorstop! At 1116 pages long its going to keep me busy for a while, but i'm really enjoying it! I would recommend it

  15. I had a bit of a slow start but i'm now on page 265 out of 1116 pages.... I have put The Stand on the "to read" list, you seem to be really enjoying it

  17. I used to really enjoy the Enid Blyton series "The _________ of Adventure" series. I even had them on tape as well. Very fond memories
  18. My 11 year old son really enjoys the Goosebumps books and also the Alex Rider series

  20. I have a nice bottle of Chanti waiting to be opened next week And even better it didn't cost me anything because my Dad ran a Cheese and Wine evening last weekend and they had a few bottles of the wine left over so he bought one round for me!!!! Great!

  24. Iv'e just made fairy cakes with currants in with butter cream icing on top and a jelly sweet on top of that! My son thinks i am number 1 mum now!
  25. Rose Madder is my favorite one so far, although i am still making my way through all his books!
