I am googling fig trees now, but haven't come across anything too useful yet...... How do you bake figs? I would love to do that!

I have planted a fig tree today and I was wondering if there is anything special I should be doing? It is in the sun against the fence and is about a metre and a half tall. There are green figs on it as well, does anyone know how to tell when they are ripe please and also what should they look like inside please? I have only ever eaten dried figs so this is all new to me! Thanks very much!

Yep I'm about 20-30 pages a day. I would LOVE to be able to read more but I am too easily distracted and have too much to do.

I have just finished eating some of Robbie's apple and sultana crumble that he made at school today! Instead of a crumble top they used oats - delish!

These are all plants that mum and dad had on their balcony but as they live in the penthouse, the balcony gets really hot and windy and they keep nearly killing everything - so they give them all to me!!!

Providing the weather is good this weekend I will be planting a fig tree, a potato plant, a passionflower and a climbing hydrainger (sp). Dad is coming to help me dig the holes and mum is coming along to "supervise"!

I haven't been able to read my book for the past few days what with worrying about Robbie. Just couldn't concentrate. Hopefully though I can start reading it again now things have settled down.
