I love that plan. I'm tempted to do something similar myself with me remaining tree-books but I suspect I won't be so restrained with my Kobo as you and won't have made a great dent in the paper ones. What colour Kobo did you get in the end?

Guilty. I took a whole year to read East of Eden by John Steinbeck and I don't think I read anything else that year either - at least not fiction. It was back in my not-so-bookish days

So far The Making of Modern Britain is really good. The prose is very lively and not at all dry. I have also started reading A Wrinkle In Time by Madeleine L'Engle on the Kobo.
