  3. Impressive list! Billion Dollar Babies ~ Alice Cooper
  4. I got an email to say they were closing (I must have joined one time) and I was sorry for you all too. It's really hard when you get to know people so well over time ... it feels like losing family 🥺
  5. I just KNEW you'd love Flavia! So happy
  6. I second that and would also include crocheting, and spinning wool. Probably not when you're first learning though ... that can be pretty trying on patience
  7. Rhinestone Cowboy ~ Glen Campbell (I suspect you have quite a few singers autographs, Muggle. I remember you saying Dave Matthews lived quite close to you at one time and you rode with a famous singer in a taxi, I think?? ... whose name escapes me )
  8. Let us know what you think, Chrissy. Muggle recommended them to me originally and he's never put me wrong yet, in fact some of my favourite books are ones he's suggested. And you got me onto the wonderful Jodi Taylor books, more all time favourites I think you'll find Flavia a delightful character, she's certainly one of a kind.
  9. Just a wee suggestion, Chrissy. Have you read the Flavia de Luce books by Alan Bradley? I think you would love them
  10. Mammas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys Waylon ~ Jennings and Willie Nelson
  11. Forever Young ~ Bob Dylan
  12. Anyone Who Had a Heart ~ Dionne Warwick
  13. So happy you've got your reading mojo back, Chrissy I've been enjoying books set on the Home Front during WW2. Perhaps it's the courage, humour and resilience of people being constantly bombed and putting up with so many deprivations that's somehow comforting and reassuring, especially with how things are in the world at present. Just finished Spam Tomorrow by Verily Anderson, and now reading Nothing to Report by Carola Oman.
  14. Remember the Name ~ Fort Minor
  15. On Every Street ~ Dire Straits
  16. Atticus Finch
  17. Always Look On the Bright Side of Life ~ Monty Python
  18. What Shall We Do With the Drunken Sailor? ~ Irish Rovers
  19. Matthew and Son ~ Cat Stevens
  20. Mr Sandman ~ The Chordettes
  21. It's Anzac Day here ... In Flanders fields the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved, and now we lie, In Flanders fields. Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields. In Flanders Fields ~ John McCrae, 1914
  22. Take a Letter Maria ~ R.B Greaves
  23. Morning Has Broken ~ Cat Stevens
