Sorry about that, you mean to say they are all waiting to be read? If so that will keep you going for a while there are some good ones I'm going to have to add to my 'To Read' list.
-
Wow that's some list Nuttymum. Are the bold ones your 'On the shelf' list?

Finished The Winter King today. I originally started it back in October but admit to struggling a bit with it, so I put it down and read a couple of other books then decided to pick it up again. I'm glad I did. This is one of those books that I would not have looked at before joining this forum. Once I got stuck into reading it again I've enjoyed being transported back to another period in time and way of life. I'm going to add the other 2 books in this trilogy to my 'To read as soon as' list. Perhaps later on in the year I might try some of the Sharpe books Bernard Cornwell has written. Apologies but I'm not good at reviews, I'll never make a writer

Starting Empress Orchid by Anchee Min To rescue her family from poverty and avoid marrying her slope-shouldered cousin, 17 year old Orchid competes to be one of the Emperor's wives. When she is chosen as a lower ranking concubine she enters the erotically charged and ritualised Forbidden City. But beneath its emmaculate facade lie whispers of murders and ghosts, and the thousands of concubines will stoop to any lengths to bear the Emperor's son. Orchid trains herself in the art of pleasuring a man, bribes her way into the royal bed, and seduces the monarch, drawing the attention of dangerous foes. Little does she know that China will collapse around her, and that she will be its last Empress.

I have to admit to having a bit of trouble with the place names, I don't know about anyone else but they sound Welsh to me which kept disorienting me (I know it doesn't take much), but on the whole the second half of the book is far more interesting.

Finished DWHH tonight. This is the first time I've read an 'ebook' and I have to say I really enjoyed it KW. I look forward to reading more of your work. I agree with Michelle's comments 100%. Although the ebook format was ok (especially when reading at work ) i do think it is better to have a book in your hand. Great story, strong characters and an insight into bringing a child up who has autism. Thanks KW -
I was only being honest
