Started this one last night. It's no mean feat trying to read between the tears i can tell you . (I know i'm just a big softy at heart!) It's a lovely book that really tugs at the heart strings.

Finished reading this the other day. Have to admit it was a great read. I thought it was well written and thought provoking, it is one of those books that has left a lasting impression on me.

This is one of my childhood favs to. In fact i still have a copy from when i was about 10, which is only ahemm a few years ago. I used to love watching the tv series aswell.

According to IMDB it's due out next year and stars Nicole Kidman as Marisa Coulter and Daniel Craig as Lord Asriel and newcomer Dakota Blue Richards as Lyra Belacqua.
