Good stuff from Andy & Glendale this weekend......they beat the current league leaders 3-1 yesterday and he scored. Well chuffed they are, as Cover are/were unbeaten so far until yesterday....so it can be done. They played great, completely different to the mid week game.
  16. Just finished 'The Memory Garden' by Rachel Hore, read via bookring started by Kate.
  17. 'The Memory Garden' by Rachel Hore Read via bookring started by Kate. Thanks for letting me read this one Kate. Very enjoyable and loved the past/present connections and the researching into the artists etc. I was intrigued to know what they were going to find in the garden and would love to have know how it was going to look, but that was left unfinished, however sometimes these things are best left to your own imagination. Characters all likeable, although I thought it wee bit of a not-quite-finished ending, as in I wanted them to complete the garden and see it in all it's glory. 4/5

  19. 'Cornwall is a great place to lose yourself, Mel reflected with a sense of unease as she turned off the crackling car radio and peered through the rain-lashed windscreen into pitch darkness.' 'The Memory Garden' ~ Rachel Hore (and it is good)

Start of his U'13's season tomorrow, with points to be won and proper refs etc. Hoping they can play well.
