  5. I know I am....lol. I like watching him play although he is playing with the 'big boys' now that he is 18....lol. Had to take him then to pitch inspection for his 'U'11's team for tomorrows game as it has been very cold and frosty up here recently, however looks like they should be ok for tomorrow....if there aren't any more mole hills appear overnight...lol.

  11. What time of day is where you are??? It is just gone mid-day here in Aberdeen, Scotland.

  12. I read 'the Shop' via a bookring on bookcrossing and K2nS is offering 'Back on Blossom Street' as a bookring, but I really wanted to read the on inbetween first. I love family/relationship type books. The remind me a bit of 'Elm Creek' quilter stories.

  13. The Outcast -(Costa) k.b.marsh had a bookring on the go for it if you were interested.

  14. I love getting my washing outside....so it is a pleasure....simple things please simple minds as they say....lol. Oh yes...sorry the book. 'A Good Yarn' by Debbie Macomber (The Shop on Blossom Street)

  15. How many have you read.? http://www.waterstones.com/waterstonesweb/navigate.do?pPageID=1180 See 'The Outcast' was first novel shortlist winner!!
  16. If you call the simple pleasure of hangin your washing on the line out in the sunshine a good day....yes so far it has been OK and just received a book in the post...yippee.

    Accents

You have a lovely accent(s) having heard you:D Have to agree there:lurker: Have a soft spot for the Geordie accent have to say. Also love Morgan Freemans accent, where would that be from? Also James Nesbitt (nobody can swear like him...lol) Not quite sure where people would think I am from, originally from Fife (and still have my Scottish accent) but having lived in London for 6 years when at work I had to slow down a bit to make myself understood a bit better !! Which annoyed me. I am certainly not as broad Fife as my dad is, think it is a combination of moving and then living with someone who maybe doesn't have the same accent as you too changes it. You couldn't really say my boys have a particular regional accent to anywhere specific either, just that they are Scottish.
  18. Hiya....how are you getting on with the Blue Diary? Enjoying it?

  19. Thanks for you post on my daisy photo. It was a great year for them, never managed such a good display again though. It must have been really sunny that year.

  20. I love all your piccies in your album too. Like Charm I couldn't make up my mind which one I liked best.

  21. :welcome2:I'll say my hello here. Looks like you haven't taken long to get settled in a comfy chair in here :D

Elm Creek - if you manage to get the first one Quilter's Apprentice it sets up the whole series, but I could lend you the second one etc if you find you like them. Also if you go into my bits n' bobs album on my profile page you will see a few cross stitch I have done.

  23. If you are sure Kell, I may be persuaded to give it a go, but it would help if I knew the title..lol. Any spare copies anyone wants to lend me just to satisfy my curiousity!!
