my library has no self-service anything at all....there's a book drop box outside the building for after-hours, but each morning they take a little cart out there and empty it. Even the few random displays are a bit paltry, maybe you can come do an internship at the library here? Sounds like we can use you! Hey, maybe you can get some pics of your library adventures/discoveries/displays so we can see Omg, it's the most impatient thing ever, isn't it?? Drives me nuts too!

well yeah, nook offers a bunch of freebies.....but it's the Friday one that seems to get the focus...although I'll admit Kindle's regular freebie section seems more interesting than Nook's!

Every Friday Barnes and Noble (Nook) has a freebie....I just pop Free Friday in the search actually....I assume Amazon is pretty much the same way...though I'm not sure if they often have the same books going for free or even the daily find.
