Blindness is a fave book of mine, and Unknown Island was a sweet little story. I have The Stone Raft, but haven't gotten to it yet....you should try Death at Intervals...really good too

Thanks, so far am enjoying it very much I loved that book...a fave from last year Saramago is one of my very fave authors, though I haven't read this one yet....I'll be looking forward to your thoughts on it...have you read others by him?
