  1. I taped quite a few of the episodes but it was on VCR and I no longer have a VCR player. I wonder how much it would cost to have them made so I could watch them on a DVD player. It really was one, if not the best, TV shows that I have watched. Oh, how I miss it.
  2. I agree. The judge should be ashamed of herself.
  3. I downloaded a few photos from the Internet of the Hudson River Valley.
  4. September will be a busy month for us. Monday my niece and her husband stayed overnight and had dinner with us...a very enjoyable evening and breakfast. Saturday we will be at a reunion in Lake Anna, Virginia (retired people that I worked with). Then on Monday Sept 8th we leave for our annual trip to Bar Harbor, Maine. We will spend the first night on the way up in Fishkill, NY near the Hudson River valley...a beautiful place. The second night we will stay on the waterfront in Portland, Maine. We plan on having lunch at the Eventide restaurant and eating their lobster rolls which were voted the runner-up for "best-in-Maine" http://www.downeast.com/runners/. The next day we will travel on up to Bar Harbor with stops in Freeport and shop at the L.L. Bean store. Another stop will be in Camden, Maine where we will have lunch (New England Clam Chowder). finally we will arrive in Bar Harbor and spend 5 nights there and visit Acadia National Park and eat lobster, lobster, lobster. When we get back home we will spend a couple nights at our house and then drive up to my niece's home in Pennsylvania and visit with relatives.

  13. Back On Montana Plains - Patsy Montana (Oh, there is more, much more - I also met Patsy Montana, the first female Country singer to sell a million records. She was a pioneer and led the way for female singers. I saw her perform in her very, very late years at "The Barns of Wolf Trap" a prestigious place outside Washington , DC. I bought 4 of her albums and she autographed all of them for me.) http://youtu.be/nGKrqF55UMo
  14. It's Four In The Morning - Faron Young I met Faron many years ago and shared a limousine ride with just me and him from the airport to the hotel where we were both staying. He was performing across the road from the hotel at the Hampton Roads Coliseum and I was in town on a week-end recruiting trip. He is one of my favorite Country Music singers, even though he is no longer with us. Faron is in the Country Music hall of Fame and deservedly so as he has some enormous song hits. http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=its+four+in+the+morning&FORM=VIRE7#view=detail&mid=9A6D223FD98C49846A329A6D223FD98C49846A32

  17. I am about 44% through (kindle) A Discovery of Witches and am enjoying it so far. I am surprised at the amount of history in the book, pleasantly so. I am somewhat anxious to see what direction the remainder of the book takes.

  23. Please stay off the roof of the veranda. We have a niece who, when she was a child, was absolutely in love with the Waltons TV series. About 10 or more years ago she came to visit us when we lived in Charlottesville, VA and we took her to the Walton Museum and she was thrilled. Sorry Chrissy - blame it on poppy.
