OK, I've read about three books since my last post which are on my list. I am now reading Murder Most Royal by Jean Plaidy- only started it last night and already 80 pages in- it's such a great book and already thoroughly enjoying it!

Hi, at the moment I can't seem to get enough of history, and I'm itching to read some historical fiction, but not about war. I can't read Philippa Gregory until next year when I turn 14, as it's got some 'adulty' comments in it. I've read some Jean Plaidy's, and thanks to this website I've got some more on my wishlist. Can you recommend any more? Thank you!

When I read the Ingo series by Helen Dunmore, I see myself in Devon/Cornwall, where the books are set. I could go on, I have a lot of books with my memories.
