Startled By His Furry Shorts :lol:Well, what can I say about this series? Apart from- LOL. The bestselling series about Georgia Nilson is hilarious. While she and her 'Ace Gang' go round trying to make the more handsome boys theirs; she has a rather annoying family: her 3-year-old sister Libby keeps leaving things in Georgia's room and embarassing her in front of her crushes; her cat Angus spits in her face; and her father has a 'really embarassing tash and beard', so about the only normal person is her mother. In the first book, she competes with her arch rival, sixth-former 'Wet Lindsay' to get Robbie, the boy who most people fancy. Along the way, Libby embarasses her older sister; Angus tries to eat 'Mr And Mrs Nextdoor's' poodles; and many other hilarious things. I'd give it 10/10! I got this for my birthday, and I like what I've seen and read so far! It's beautifully photographed, and is actually talking in language that people would understand unlike some books! It's got how to keep a record of what you see, what kinds of binoculars you need, how to make your own pond, and loads more. The book has a wonderful, helpful monthly guide for the year. In here, it tells you what sorts of wildlife are best for watching, how to get to see those animals, and has a 'things to do' in every one, including seal trips, pond-dipping and rock-pooling. Also for each month it has one 'interesting' animal for you to focus on, like otters, bitterns and kingfishers. From how to find doremice to watching bitterns, it has all the things you need to know about the wildlife of the current month and it really teaches you a lot! Well, I can't wait to use it in the summer holidays. It should be good!

I've had a flick through Bill Oddie's How To Watch Wildlife. It's really good and I can't wait to start using it during the summer holidays next week Meanwhile, loving The Lost World, although truth be told I prefer the previous one at this moment in time. It's still very good, and it'll be only a matter of a couple of days before it gets finished, I think! :)

Last night I finished Dancing In My Nuddy-Pants. It was so funny! Really, I must get the rest of the series, I've read 2 of the others and found them funny as well. I can't wait for the film version of Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging to come out in the cinema during the holidays Now I'm reading The Lost World by Michael Crichton. So far, good book!
