    Hello

    Hi Gillian Welcome
  4. That's no problem Glad you've found it now.
  5. I have never ever read Harry Potter. It never interested me at the time. The information you gave about the book you can't name. Google came up with Skellig. Could that be it?
  6. I'm sorry, but that is so rude! How dare he say that! I am not a vegetarian, probably never will be but do understand the benefits of having free meat days. However you chose to live your life and what you eat is up to you as an individual. I would certainly never comment on a customers' request in a supermarket, restaurant or any other establishment. Some just don't think before they speak.

    Jogging Diary

Hi, Frankie I don't know if you are still jogging but have you ever done the couch to 5k. I know you are not a beginner in this but it helps people to run for longer over a period of 8 weeks. You can chose somebody to talk you through the run and motivate you. I have Jo Whiley. I am probably one of the most unfit people ever and exercise bores me but I really needed to lose some weight and this really helps. Also about the walking is there not a local dog walking programme?
  12. thank you, Talisman I think she said something along the lines of "if it has four legs I won't eat it" although she doesn't eat any poultry either. Do you ever get people telling you they are vegetarian because they only eat chicken?
  13. Best of luck! Just take deep breaths. Sure you'll be fine How lovely! Enjoy your pamper!
  14. That is very interesting I learnt something new here. I would only know vegetarian and vegan. My mum's friend decided to become a vegetarian when she was 16 over 30 years ago but she still eats fish.
  15. Hello and welcome, John
  16. thank you and you too.
  17. I feel the same way! I have a few books I want to finish then think I might join you and take a break for a week or two. I have had a great reading month.
  18. I quite like that film. The first time I saw it I must have been about 7-8 and I ended up spending most of it hiding behind my mum. Then I saw it when I was a teenager and enjoyed it more.
  19. I agree! something that is lighthearted and hopefully funny. Gentlemen Prefer Blondes by Anita Loos A Cakeshop In The Garden by Carole Matthews Bridget Jones series by Helen Fielding Twenties Girl by Sophie Kinsella I would also say a auto/biography of a favourite comedian because you are bound to have a good laugh with those.
  20. I am going to have a look I do rather like him.
  21. Graham Norton as in the Graham Norton?
  22. This has really opened my eyes and I must admit I am guilty of this. I do tend to read a lot of short stories and then think "great now I have another book added to my goal" they are books I want to read but I also end up reading them between another book I am reading and enjoying. Instead of just concentrating on that one book.
  23. I have just finished The Fault In Our Stars. That book deserves five stars and then some! I think I felt just about every emotion there is whilst reading it. It's going to be some time before I stop thinking about it.
