  1. I have a couple of books I want to get finsished up. I am quite in the mood for classics at the moment but I want to try a new author. So shall have to have a dive into my books. I am also considering joining my local library. My sister-in-law has always said how she feels keeping libraries going and supporting them is important. Plus BOOKS!
  2. thank you I’m glad it’s okay now. Funny thing is because I deleted it off and put it back on it says date added 2nd June 2018 and date read 2nd June 2018 but still has my progress saved such as “I am on page 210 of 400” etc. So I’m pretty pleased with that. I just think goodreads is a peculiar thing at times.
  3. I deleted the book and added it back on. Seems to have worked now
  4. I loved it! thank you
  5. I see it did that I tried to add it as 2018 but it’s still not taking it. I think it’s happening across the website though. I’m hoping they will be able to fix it. I had a look and it actually is on my read shelf, I just assumed it wasn’t because i have mine in ‘date read’ order and it wasn’t at the top. I’ll leave it for a bit and hopefully it’ll correct soon.
  6. Hope you enjoyed the books I have finished The Tenant Of Wildfell Hall. Finally! I’ve been meaning to finish this for weeks now. Probably wont be reading much this weekend either, but definitely next week.
  7. I have just added a book as read, and if I search for it, it says I have read it. However it is not on my read shelf nor been added to my challenge. Hmm? Is this the problem that they say people have been having?
  8. There was but I think it was two or three books in not the one after the short story. Think you said the next book was Shopaholic and Sister but this was from Shopaholic To The Stars. Not to worry these things happen plus I am sure I’ll still enjoy them thoroughly. Oh and that didn’t happen on Ms Kinsella’s site, but another cant remember where now.
  9. I have read George Orwell and John Steinbeck! Two of my favourites. I have also read a couple of Oscar Wilde one that I really enjoyed and one I liked. Not really got much further with the others.
  10. I have decided to add more shelves. I find this easier to locate books I want to. Such as five star books etc. I do think we should embrace our tbr.
  11. I think it was called A Proper Family Christmas? It is very possible It certainly wasn’t the author’s writing so I will be more than happy to try her out again.
  12. Eragon (The Inheritance Cycle series) by Christopher Paolini
  13. Oh my goodness a new month again! I don’t think I am going to be able to do much reading this weekend, but I’m going to make an effort to read at least an hour a day for the week.
  14. The Worst Case Scenario Cookery Club looks like it would be right up my street. I was sure I had read a book by that author before, so I had a look and I have. It was one of my least liked books, gave it one star, but thinking of adding this one.
  15. I had a look on Sophie’s webpage for the short story, and although I found it, I was struggling with keeping the page from sticking so I ended up reading it from another site. However, I read it and all was fine when I got to the bottom it said “next page to chapter 2” I started reading and nothing made sense. She was in Europe and then suddenly back in America so I had a look and it was the start of one of the full length novels. ...To The Stars I think it was. So I spoilt myself a little bit. Just made me so confused
  16. I know this is an old one:- Evert from The Secret Diary Of Hendrik Groen Scott from My Favourite Husband by Pam McCutheon Becky from The Shopaholic Series by Sophie Kinsella Lorelei from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes & But Gentlemen Marry Brunettes by Anita Loos
  17. The Count Of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas
  18. The Scarecrow Of Oz (The Oz Series) by L Frank Baum
  19. An Abundance Of Katherines by John Green
  20. thank you for that I thought it possible it wasn’t a novel as on goodreads it says book 3.5. I do have a couple of the books in the series in paperback, so will have to check which ones I have. Shall check out her website for the story, that’s great help!
  21. I have just read ...Ties The Knot. This was my favourite of the series, so far. I find Becky to be stupidly annoying at times, but she is so loveable and is and always will be a favourite character of mine. Can’t wait to see how the honeymoon goes!
