  1. Hope you are feeling better very soon! I'll probably spend the morning cleaning the chickens out and doing odd jobs and pottering around the house, until my partner gets here. My brother and partner and gran are also coming over so shall be nice to see them all. thank you It should be a lovely day. He is also a rather sociable baby so I don't think it will faze him too much.
  2. February is a busy month with my nephew's christening this Sunday as well as many birthdays including my own. I would like to have birthday celebrations but not get older if that is possible. Glad everything went well at the dentist. It's bad enough with just regular check ups. I agree this month is flying by.
  3. I am with you there completely. I do think the books that get all the attention tend to be the biggest letdowns. I do hope you like it when you read it
  4. thank you for sharing loved to see your reading progress come to life. 24 books is good going!
  5. I have read some fantastic books including Misery by S King, Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine by G Honeyman (worthy of all the praise) and A Little Princess by F Hodgson Burnett. I am Currently reading Kensuke's Kingdom by Michael Morpurgo. Very good.
  6. That is such a shame. I am hoping they bring it back. Seems many others feel the same, like you say. There is so many other things they could change on there.
  7. Has the most read authors gone? It was such a good feature and now I don't see it.
  8. I love statistics and lists. Glad you are enjoying them, I haven't read them either but really thinking about it.
  9. I didnt see your post before I added mine. I agree so much with this!
  10. I don't ever look at reviews to determine if I am to read a certain book or author. I find a few books I have read which I disliked have been highly rated on goodreads and have constant 5 and 4 star reviews. Reviews are good to see what other people's thoughts are. Like Madeleine said I look at reviews whilst reading the book. I really want to read The Catcher In The Rye just to see why it is so unpopular.
  11. Fantastic Beasts The crimes Of Grindalweld 2019. A good film I thought.
  12. I did thank you sorry to hear you didnt though. When you like a series and the last book let's you down it is awful. It has made me want to watch the films again.
