  10. I will have plenty of time to read on those days.......or any other days at the moment re. the lockdown. The first three weeks I had the idea that I should be busy with projects, but now I am more stoically getting used to being more relaxed doing what I really want, usually reading.
  11. I finished the last two episodes last night, and I still have mixed feelings of the series. Parts were excellent (the special effects were beautiful), but too many times I was cringing at the schmaltzy acting. But I did like
  12. I liked episodes 1, but I thought #2 & #3 were less so. Thankfully, it has improved for #4 - 6.
  13. Finished listening No Time Like the Past (The Chronicle of St Mary's #5) by Jodi Taylor Another cracking story. Plus the narrator, Zara Ramm, is excellent.
  14. New book from Lois Lowry - On The Horizon. The UK Kindle version is £12.97, but for some reason the Audible version priced at £3.97. So I went for the Audible!
  15. Episode 4 of The Mandolorian. Another cracking story, and The Child/Baby Yoda wins many hearts again, especially during sipping broth, and when he waddles around.
  16. Life’s What You Make It - Talk Talk
  17. Managed 2 hours reading yesterday, which is rather poor as I have very little to do at the mo! I hope to read most of this afternoon.
  18. Starting 3 new books today Nabari No Ou #1 and The Royal Tutor #13 (both manga) Pied Piper by Neville Shute Happy reading everyone
  19. Yes, it’s really good! It reminds me of the original Star Wars films, and it’s very like the Clint Eastwood The Man With No Name movies. I think the actor really tries to sound just like Eastwood in The Mandalorian
  20. Episode 1-3 of The Mandolorian. With baby Yoda..........so cute!!!
  21. I'll be looking forward to the reading time this weekend.....I've had difficult in concentration in reading this last week.
  22. I finished reading Lonely Courage; the true story of the SOE heroines who fought to free Nazi-occupied France by Rick Stroud. An excellent book, very gripping stories of the 39 women who were recruited and parachuted into France. Happy reading this weekend everyone!
