I've just joined and am in the process of entering all my books. My username is angerball, if anyone wants to look me up or 'friend' me.

 

If I want to separate the books I own, from the ones I have read but don't own (ie. borrowed), do I do that using tags?

Yes - use tags and you can use more than one tag for a book eg, if you have a library book that you read in 2007 - you can tag it 'Read 2007, library loan' ie put a comma between tags and it will appear in both categories

It's so much fun, listing my books!

 

Just finished pretty much all my books - 348 of them. Phew! I haven't done my e-books, and I have one box of Reader's Digest books in the cellar to go, but I'm pretty much done. Only took me about 5 hours...and I haven't added any tags or reviews or anything yet.

 

Updated my sig, with my LibraryThing link.

 

Edited again: Have just gone through and added all of you as friends (hope I haven't missed anyone - if I have, it's totally unintentional). Hope that's ok; if not, just reject me.

My LibraryThing link in my signature doesn't seem to be working properly. Instead of taking you to my page it takes you to the LibraryThing main page.

 

Is anyone else having this problem?

Nici, are you signed in? I'm getting a message saying they have a high load, and you must be signed in to view individual pages. Once signed in, both yours and Judy's links work fine.

Yup - I was getting the same thing too. Once I sign in though, it takes me to where I want to go.
