Parenthesis Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 I didn't realise I was keeping it a secret Thbbt! Quote
Nocturnal Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 Now that's a no-brainer! The wonderfully cruel world of The Malazan Book of the Fallen. No matter how much I love Middle Earth and its elves, MBotF has a bigger world with much more opportunities! All those warrens, all those factions and all that violence. Ah, that's all a girl could dream of. My second choice is the land of Thedas, the Tolkien-ish world of Dragon Age. Because in there, elves are more appealing. And there's my biggest gaming crush, Fenris, of course. Quote
BlueNinja Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 My fist choice would be Middle Earth and my second would be the Commonwealth from the Commonwealth Saga by Peter F. Hamilton. As from a game I would probably choose the colored world of Kingdom of Amalur or maybe the gray world of Skyrim. Quote
MythologyNut01 Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 Hogwarts. I'm still waiting for my letter . I wouldn't mind living in Narnia, though. Quote
Ian McAllister Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 As a confirmed muggle I live in Harry Potter world already. Half my neighbours are witches! Mac. Quote
K.in.your.book Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 Definitely Middle Earth...either in The Shire (but I would be adventurous and want to visit other places too unlike most hobbits who live there) or I would live in fourth age Gondor. I'll just have to settle for a trip to New Zealand one day! Quote
Jim Ellis Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 As long as I could be magical, Harry Potter of course! Quote
risingdawn Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 I would love to live in the world of The Passage/The Twelve but I'd probably die really quickly. So I would probably be a part of Andor from the Wheel of Time! I want to be an Aes Sedai Quote
Arran82 Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Happily live in The Shire of Middle-Earth...was at Alnwick Castle (Hogwarts) last week....prefer a hole in the ground. Quote
jared32 Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 (edited) I will choose lord of the rings and i wanna be a soldier their. Edited February 18, 2013 by Michelle Quote
Peahen Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 Narnia - according to C S Lewis I already live in due to his basis for the map he drew of Narnia and its influences (the Mountains of Mourne). Therefore, I would move to the Shire, in Lord of the Rings. If I want to enjoy the idyllic beauty and simplicity, I stay in my little hobbit cottage and if not, I simply have to wander beyond the Shire. Quote
JKHolmes Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 No Discworld by Terry Pratchett??!! I'd probably choose Harry Potter then. Quote
Cumberbabe Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Harry Potter/Hogwarts. I don't understand why anyone wouldn't want that. Quote
Karsa Orlong Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Harry Potter/Hogwarts. I don't understand why anyone wouldn't want that. Giant spiders. That's all I'm saying. Quote
ladylovelybrit Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 The enchanted realm beyond the town of Wall... Quote
Merryweather_89 Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 Definitely Hogwarts for me. The Shire a close second! Quote
Kasei Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Aw, Lost Years of Merlin! So nostalgic, I loved those books! ...where's the Xanth option? xD Gotta love some Piers Anthony craziness. Quote
Chryssie Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Oh this is trickier than I thought.... But it has to be the Tolkien's world. I would love to live in the Shire or perhaps Rohan or Gondor (after all the fighting is over). Harry Potter is a close second though! Quote
