lexiepiper
A new trailer was released yesterday, which you can see here. Although I'm kind of sad the films are coming to an end, I'm really excited to see this, it looks great from the trailer Who else is looking forward to watching it? Chrissy
Me me me me Totally and utterly The trailer does look good, and I had a wobbly second when I saw the beach scene bit and Harry looking upset. We know what that means.....
Nightwish
I can't wait for this!!! I'm so excited of course, although I'm dreading seeing poor Dobby's death
Kylie
I'm looking forward to it too! Thanks for posting the link, Lexie. I'm super excited now! It looks spectacular. Is it due out at the end of the year?
Coffin Nail
I didn't read the last book, and probably never will, so I'm really looking forward to finding out what happens in the end. I've really enjoyed the rest of the movies, they're good popcorn munchers.
nursenblack
I watched the trailer a couple days ago and I'm very excited! Gives me goosebumps! I need to show my parents the trailer because they are huge fans of the movies.
Stephanie2008
I can't wait for the last movies I just wish the trailer was longer. I was watching the Baftas the other night and laughed because Julie Walters kind of spoiled one storyline for those who hadn't read the last book *MAJOR SPOILER* when she commented on Helena Bonham Carter being an amazing actress that she'd spent the last few days killing with her wand. lauraloves
wooooo i cant wait for this to come out im kind of sad though that is in two parts, although there is lots of things that need to be explained.
AbielleRose
Eep! I saw the trailer during the MTV movie awards a couple nights ago and it looks so incredible! Does anyone know where they are planning to split the story at or if they've announced it yet?
Katrina1968
when is the release date?
Raven
I'm dreading seeing poor Dobby's death I'm looking forward to that! I'm toying with the idea of waiting until they are both out on DVD and then watching them both back-to-back. I know there is a lot in the final book, but I still think this should have been made as one film. ETA: when is the release date? November this year for part one, and July next year for part two - I think.
lexiepiper
It's released 19th Nov in the UK and US, there are some diff release dates for other countries though, which you can see here. Part 2 is being released next summer, July 15th to be exact. Going to be a long wait between parts 1 & 2.

Kylie
Does anyone know where they are planning to split the story at or if they've announced it yet? I'm not sure that they've announced it, but I'd be interested to know too. I just hope they give enough time to all the big scenes at the end. I was disappointed with the way they handled the Ministry of Magic fight in HP 5. My country isn't on that list of release dates.
Raven
I suspect it will end on a cliffhanger - what action sequence is near the middle of the book? - or with Harry being grim and determined, one of the two.
Nightwish
The only big thing I can think of in the middle of the book is when they are taken to Malfoy Manor.
Sheeta
24 November for me, that's cruel. Can't wait to see Ron leave Harry and Hermione, since I was tired of seeing him following his friends without a word. I'm in love with him. But my favourite chapter was Snape's story. Chrissy
I think they might splice the film after Shell Cottage. It rounds off what has taken place until then, and is the only 'pause' before the action and turmoil later on.
beef
I am looking forward to this but deep down I am really hoping they keep the camping down to a minumum, the last book read like J.K had bought shares in a tent company.
Raven
^ That section did drag on a bit.
Univerze
Actually I didn't mind the camping bit, was a nice change from the usual decor, I mean Hogwarts is fabulous, but still. And ahhhhh. Buzzkill. I mean.. November? I have to wait till november to see this? *pouts* Always have this when I see a trailer for a film I really like to see, I wanna see it NOW! Might just have to rewatch some of the other films. I have all of them in my dvd cabinet. Or else read some of the books, I have all of them too. Some double even, in Dutch first then in English. Me, liking HP? Nah.
beef
I agree it was nice to get out of the castle as it was getting a little tired, but still, camping? these are people with magical powers and the best she could come up with was camping? come on!
Raven
They are magic tents though! I think the reason I didn't like that part of the book is because The Half Blood Prince set things up nicely for an action-packed finale, it felt as though all the warm up was over and it would be on with the quest, but then they just end up camping for several months - way to kill momentum Rowling!
